I’m still working on this. I’m using Prisma colored pencils. I may need to buy the polychromes and see if it makes a difference. I’m enjoying these tutorials so much. Thank you !
Mine turned out darker but still a good picture. It would be great if you showed up the colors that you used in the video. I tried to match them but didn't get it right. Thank you for the video.
It's always amazing to me how i can follow along and still not end up with anything that looks like the tutorial. And my craft knife didn't do anything at all. Oh well. Maybe wax based pencils don't work with the craft knife. Who knows.
Wow you're awesome. I am only beginning my drawing with Polychromos journey and I am not yet very good at small details. Although I also admit, I am too scared to sharpen my beautiful pencils to a fine point, as I don't want to shrink them. 😝I am going to have to watch out for your other videos, since you're definitely showing people the same skills, I am currently obsessed with learning.
Once you finish your painting is,it sprayed with what for protection. THEN WHAT is it framed under glass, new to pencils. IM an acrylic artis ,but would like to try.
Hey Gemma, another great video. I have been watching for a while and I am going to sign up for Patreon on the 01-09. Behind you in your video's is a pic of colour pencils, did you draw this yourself? if yes, is there a video? I have looked but am unable to find one. Thanks for sharing
That's awesome, looking forward to seeing you on Patreon soon ❤ I'm afraid the poster behind me isn't drawn - I bought the stock image and sent it to my art printer. I do really like it though and may draw it or something similar in the future!
Could you tell us what the actual colour of each pencil that you are using. Please? I have Polychromos and light yellow or earthy red don't exist in their range. I know some watchers don't necessarily have those pencils, but those who do would like accuracy please. Thanks Gemma, great tutorial though.

colors aren't as nearly as important as tonal value :)

Lovely! I would love to see a review of "Lyra Polycolor," color pencils. Have you tried those?
Could you please tell us the exact colors you are using? Reddish brown doesn’t help.
Obrigado
