  • The Yankees' Andy Hawkins was the tough-luck loser in a 4-0 decision on this Sunday afternoon, holding the White Sox to zero hits but allowing four unearned runs, all in the eighth inning. After retiring the first two batters in the inning, the Yankees committed three errors and Hawkins walked two. Barry Jones earned the victory in relief of Greg Hibbard.
