The wholesale license is provided by the seller or manufacturer... Sellers Permit is provided by the state so you can pay them the sales tax when you make a sale... However, most wholesalers only sell wholesale to people with seller permits... When the sign says wholesale - Open to the Public - that means they will sell the product wholesale to anyone who is buying...Not the same thing bro...
what manufacturer provides a wholesale license? Seller Permit and Reseller Permit are two totally different things. Sellers Permit will not let you buy wholesale. Wholesale License/Reseller Permit is obtained thru the state. not from a manufacturer.

I'm currently working on starting my own clothing brand and I'm just trying to finalize my product. Ima keep that heat press in mind, thought it was expensive but it makes all the sense in the world.
The alstyle shirt your getting from the T shirt spot is most likely the 1301. Thats the standard cut from Alstyle. I know The Hundreds uses the 1301 on some of their logo T's. Thats a good option for getting started. Quality is good and the washability is good too.
In NYS, you have to go to the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. Once it gets approved, they send you a certificate saying you are legal to collect Sales Tax. From that day forward, whether you actually sell or collect any taxes, you are required to file a quarterly report and pay in any taxes due. If you fail to file the quarterly report, they will send you the estimated tax due statement, which you must pay. The funny thing is, you have to file online, and the number of hoops you have to jump through to even set it up, will take you longer than the maximum 90 days you can get, which means you will start in the hole, before you even sell a single shirt. It's all a scam to make you pay something in, even when you took nothing out. Keep in mind as well, that you can purchase from Alphabroder and others without it, and still write off the taxes you paid for the items, so it really doesn't touch your bottom line. But if you make sales within the state, and don't report the income or pay said taxes back, they will take your whole business, computers, stock and all. They've even been known to freeze any assets in the account to which you use for the business, so it is always wise to create a separate account for your business, from those you use for living expenses. you would have to do all your paper work for the state that you will be operating out of but not the state you plan to purchase wholesale goods from. For better clarification i would contact your city or county clerk. they might have different rules in kansas i only know how LA works.
So you need to get a sale permits in each County do you wanna sell in? How would you do that I live in True Northern California borders Oregon and Nevada or can you Get one that covers all of California

Rebel MileHighMG majority of small businesses do fail but that doesnt mean you dont pay your taxes. you file your losses and gains. and also pay your sales tax back at the end of your fiscal year. im not a lawyer or a CPA so legally i cant give financial or legal advice. thats why i havent/cant make a video with those details. but it helps to walk into a HR Block or tax spot and ask some questions. Taxes are something you dont wanna fuck with.
