More prop videos! Miss you guys every week.
A lot of great tips. Thanks for sharing.
awwwwMAN you have a proton pack!!!!! "southern belle accent...." WHERES MY FAINTIN COUCH?"hand to forehead while rollin eyes, of course...... hahahahaha
The proton pack is one of my favorites! =D
those dragons are so damn cute!!! in an amusing coincidence I was working through modeling a novelty lock last night for my kiddo, as part of my effort to find more stuff to print to justify how many 3d printers I've bought. :D
also, the surprise musical rendition at the end got me lol
Another place to possible check out equipment is your library. Many are starting to have makerspaces and studios. (Edit: typo)
That's a really fantastic idea!
I make electronic bits and bobs, normally with loads of LEDs and boy are those things tough to photograph. As much as my phone is a bit old, having a manual mode on the camera really does help.
This is really great info, thanks for sharing! And congrats on the GizmoThrill launch - The kits look amazing and I'm looking forward to what you come out with next.
Thanks!
I have that same Hang In There poster! 😄

Dude no way! i love ur vids jake and you inspire me so much, especially just making things in general and without templates!! Thanks for all you've helped me with! also have you considered making a republic commando helmet and armor? that would be amazing if you did that and posted a video for it for me. Have a great day!
Thanks for watching! I have been meaning to get around to that one but I have a few projects in line ahead of it at the moment. @@_MandoCalrissian

Some great tips! I really need to do a big photo shoots of all my props. I have so few good pictures. M
It's worthing taking a day to shoot everything you can. Tons of fun and then you'll have all those great shots. I still have a bunch of stuff I need to shoot or re-shoot.
👍👍‼️‼️
man.... your back wall is just convulsion style NERDGASM!!!!!!
hahahahahahahaa
i love fallouts style of a future stuck in a forties version of it....
Hey Bill I really appreciate your insights in photography and filming. This will help me to improve my photography skills. Btw. do you know the UA-cam channel Abandoned Miniatures? He is a specialist in macro photography and filmography. His builds and videos (and also all the information he provides about his work) are really worth a watch!
Abandoned Miniatures is incredible! Great recommendation.
I have a canon D90.. what lense would you recommend for taking pics of props? Is the D90 even capable of great sharp pics?
The 90D is a great camera. Canon makes a 50mm f/1.8 lens that would be great with that camera.
@@punishedprops great !! thanks for the reply ..I will pick up the 50mm!!
Whenever I use a couple soft boxes like in your video I always get very grainy pics...I must be doing something wrong 🫤
Do you do commissions just asking I just was curious
We aren't currently taking commissions.
My phone camera is NOWHERE near as good as yours, but a few uears back i bought a canon m50 and its a nice step up.
Ooh, I've played with the M50, it's a really neat camera.
what pistol replica is that? looks very bladerunner.....
It’s from the game “Starfield”.
:)
