I need to know how to change my setting to view profiles not in my network profile photos. For example when I go to the Network tab, profiles have the grey animated graphic instead of a photo. Is there something on my private settings that I need to change? Thank you for your content.
no it is THEIR settings! They need to edit settings to show public profile - you can't see it (and they probably don't even realise that setting exists)

if you apply for a role, they will see your profile - is that what you mean? or do you mean without applying for anything? Public Visibility can be showing your profile OFF LinkedIN. I need to dive deeper into this!

Hi sis ! I was logged out automatically from LinkedIn yesterday, and when I tried to login again, it was showing that the maximum number of attempts had been exceeded. And also, when I told my friend to search my LinkedIn profile from his account, he couldn't find my account anywhere, and I also told him to check one page where I commented under that post but when he saw the comment section, my comments vanished. Please let me know what this issue could be.
when you turn on open to work, you can set it so that only recruiters can see it (the Open to Work note, not your profile). - you cannot hide your profile from groups of people on LinkedIn though.

yes I have! It is a linkedin error, hopefully will be fixed. Same issue happens when you click on a link inside the mobile app - it always throws up an error message until you go to desktop.

Hi Arthur, this is under your Creator settings... check out my video on Creator. Unfortunately you have to switch it off and on again to change these (at the minute).

hello - your 1st degree connections are the people you are directly connected with. If you are connected to Bob and Bob knows Julie but you don't, then. Julie is your 2nd degree connection. Hope that makes sense.
you can make groups 'invisible' to others if you are the owner, but I don't believe you can hide what groups you are in , from others, if they are public groups

ooh good question Ella. So if you turn it off, edit your profile and don't have any activity on LInkedIn otherwise, then people might not see your profile but you can't have an entirely private profile as far as I know.

Actually, sorry you can delete a comment, but you cannot delete a 'like' - if you blocked that person, I believe those likes would probably be removed.
I actually can NOT hide my work experience and education. These settings are misleading at best. All it takes is someone to create a fake linkedin profile, and they can see it all.
Great question! To control your LinkedIn profile picture and posts, you can go to your profile settings. There you can adjust privacy settings and manage who can see your updates.

you normally have to go to your own profile to see them unless you are gettin glots of comments! They will be there, but further down the newsfeed

If someone comments you will see their name, pic and comment so hit reply. A lot of linkedin people never comment on anything!
