Dirk, so fortunate to have found your lessons. Your lessons have inspired me to adapt my playing, not to a one-handed guitarist, but to an ALMOST one-handed guitarist--I'm still using my left-hand thumb to strum, but my right-hand to chord since my left arm is so uncontrollable. I'm using my lap as you do, so holding my guitar is way different than traditionally.

Hey man. Just some constructive criticism. I like the quality of the videos you've been putting out recently. Production wise. However, I think you should go a little more in depth with how you fret and strum each chord with only one hand. I am curious to know exactly how you do it. Like how do you mute the strings that aren't being played in the chord? Or how do you manage to hold the chord shape while still strumming? That would make your videos stand out more than just explaining chord shapes. I really do like the idea you're trying to go for with this channel though. I wouldn't comment on or even watch your videos if I thought they were bad, lol.

Indie Dirk Hell yeah man, no problem. Just trying to help! Say, do you have a Facebook? Maybe I could add you and we could chat about guitar and video stuff sometime. You seem like a cool dude.

Right on Man! Appreciate the insight, I added a little extra footage to my new release that will dive in to technique slightly more.. mostly because of the close up camera angle. I do have a Facebook page for the One Handed Guitar, it's: facebook.com/OneHandedGuitar/ . I'll look for ya on there!
