It's sad when you think how things were actually supposed to go.
Desmond was supposed to survive and become some sort of "living Animus" able to travel through time, fighting alongside Altaïr, Ezio and Connor.
Unfortunately, the idea was scrapped.
This is where the series started dying. The moment this game ended.
Whilst black flag being one of the most loved ac games it started dying with Syndicate
@@xgshwiainr up until 3, you had something to look forward to in the modern storyline. I'll agree that the animus line started ending after Syndicate but overall, it started decaying after this solely because of the irritating modern day sequences

@@charIiee it did. We couldn't kill people out side the animus until 5 years later. The new games are getting worse and worse. The rpg mechanism and micro-transactions ruin the experience from the original games. Valhalla left me confused as I couldn't understand when I was in the animus and when in the drug dream. Odyssey took a lot of time to end. Layla is new but has a long way to reach the standards Desmond had.

I'm surprised that everyone thinks demsonds death made any difference.. Juno used him, and will do the same to the next person.. The Ancients Are Dicks, who crave power

How come?! Minerva's "solution" was a total reset of the world.
Always has been, Juno does not see humans as equals nor respects them, she only sees humans as slaves and tools to manipulate. Juno wants to rule the world like her kind did
for some reason it isn't working for me I walk up to the thing and no cutscene is triggered

How long are The credits ment to be cos mine are still going and it’s been 20 mins
Credits killed my switch, but it was totally worth seeing the Connor cut scene that changed the game dynamic to playing exclusively in the past since the future was "saved"
Why did Desmond decide to die? He looked young and had so much to live for
