Plus Romano has very skewed way of thinking and emotional issues (You would too if your grandfather left you for your brother, were left with Austria who then dumped you onto someone else since he condisidered you helpless and that's not even mentioning the Mafia either) so with all that emotional drama he better suits Len since they both suffer.
Eh, to honest, I don't really know, I've seen many versions and each one is different. I haven't noticed anything like this in lyrics... But it's also interesting.
