My Ride With Graham Jarvis PART 1

- I recently spent five days down in Muenster, Texas checking out the Grimpossible challenge as well as one of Graham Jarvis' clinics. We did all our riding at the Red River Motorcycle Trails. What an amazing experience it was! Here is a short section of one of my rides with Graham. I hope you guys like it!

Megs, great video as always. I have watched a number of your vids and know you are an excellent rider and very fast. To be able to go out and trail ride with Jarvis has to be near the top of your bucket list.

Amazing a guy at 42 has such great conditioning to go out for hours day after day and win.
This ride was probably like a warm up for him.. Us mere mortals would be spent for the rest of the day. Impressive riding on your part Megs, way to hang with the master.

Got in touch with Gary Donihoo, trying to see if we might be able to get Graham and yourself if possible to come to Utah. Going to start checking the water for local interest, hopefully I can get someone to help coordinate for location and timing.

Nice riding Red River is a fun place to ride , getting to spend time riding with a legend has got to be a bucket list day for sure.

Megan you are a champ. You slayed the 6:00 mark like a boss. I commend you for not trying too hard to keep pace with Graham. It's so easy to want to stay on someone's tail but you handled it extremely well. Your video edits are always superb. Absolutely love the way you ended this video.

Fantastic, Fair play for having the guts to take the leap and go for it.. There are some good channels for dirt bikes on you tube, and yours is one I have only recently discovered through the nutters that are crosstrainingenduro. Your Tutorial videos are some of the best I have seen. Keep it up

Good for you, Megan! Muenster is a really tough place to ride. I was fortunate enough to ride with Malcolm Smith there way back in October '93!! It's pretty awesome being able to not only meet one of your heroes, but to be able to ride with 'em is something you'll remember for the rest of your life. Too bad we didn't have the Go Pro back then....I do have pictures though!

Wow! You two were covering ground in a hurry. He probably didn't expect you to be there every time he glanced back but you were. Must be tough on a loaner bike and in unfamiliar terrain. He probably knows those trails inside out. That log across the trail was unexpected I'm sure. Good riding Megan.

Way cool video Megan!! Our 'scenery' down here in Texas, at least everything I've seen, doesn't come close to what you and your riding/training buddies are used to up in BC but we've got some unusually tricky stuff here. Among all of the roots, rocks, and drop-offs, we have this weird dirt/rock substance called caliche (ka LEE chee or ka LEE chay if you're a Texas/Mexican Spanish speaker.) When that stuff is wet it's really a bear to stay up on, not to mention your normally 240 pound bike will come home at about 440 pounds with that stuff stuck all over it!! Excellent job not running over Graham and nice that he returned the favor by waiting on you knowing that you were slowing down to keep from running over him....LOL! Great job there, stay humble and have fun, You're living the dream! Merry Christmas from Timm 'n Suzi : )'

When we ride with Graham, we pretty much have a hard time keeping up. It was great to see what he can really do with someone who can keep up, and keep the camera on him. Awesome, can't wait for part 2. Thanks again for coming out to NTX, you're welcome back any time, so we can have a hard time keeping up with you LOL..

you could see in the vid that sometimes your line selection was just a tad 'off' from trying to keep pace with Graham. I suspect you are as smooth as silk through the same stuff at your own pace--but must be great training to be riding behind Jarvis like that
