- These timber jointers/scratches have been recycled from floor boards from a heritage build in 1870.
We have only stroke 500 and are the worlds only .
To have these 154 year old jointers in your bucket will be a honour and a pleasure for me to provide and help keep our heritage alive .

I'm guilty of never throwing away anything made of old timber, old hinges, locks, handles in fact anything
Love it
I believe any tradesman who knows his history and reads up on it as his raison d’etra is well ahead of his game and worth every penny for the knowledge he has up stairs great stuff 🤝
Haha absolutely amazing. Love that.. Keeping our heritage going. Would love one of those jointers. 2 in fact. 1 I'll keep safe and the other I will use

Dean you remind me very much of my late brother he was a old school bricklayer actually did his apprenticeship in borstal..I spent most of my life on the monkey back when hod carrying was a job many tried and many failed to hard.. luv your channel mate
Fantastic tale.
Good story Deno and used them myself on older projects even with my dad and many others brilliant brick layers over the years that have been and gone / remember when you built that volted ceiling with the sash cord between the bricks as line and guide / I done the very same with a old 72 year old brick layer when I was 19 and I’m 58 now so really get what you’re all about sir - keep doing what you’re doing as your a inspiration to others 🍀👍
I’ve got 3 sons also on the trowel and a grandson hopefully coming though and there better than me with all the text side of things so I’ll get one of them to get me one to go with my gold Rose trowel I got for my 50 th 👍
Dean ure the best mate. X
Good vid dean .
Timber jointers made from 154 year old timber vs 154 year old timber jointers. A slight difference. Regardless, a brilliant re-use of that timber. Imagine the people and hands that carried those planks and nailed them all those years ago.. Probably finished a 14hr day, in their shirts and jackets, and then went to drink ale after work. I'm no tradesman, I work in an office, but enjoy all this history
