Hi guys, the battery ratchet is a great add for the toolbox and down here in Oz when we have to use heat to loosen nuts and bolts, we say that we had to use the 'gas axe' to get them off. So next time you come across a stubborn rusted up nut or bolt, call for the gas axe.LOL.

I just got a heart for saying it needed a 4 speaker fairing for the jams. I renounce that statement. Road kings are meant for no fairing. Maybe a windshield and some Bluetooth speakers.
I like a good bring it back to life series. Both bars are nice , tough choice. No idea on the exhaust, but I’m sure it will be as loud as the rest 😂of the

I've had to wait for carbon fiber parts to put on and they'd take 20min to put on and I've had to wait all day for them. The meat hook bars look better.

If you're going for the vicla look, I would roll the gangsta apes. Gotta roll those true dual fishtails and a 21" spoke wheel up front to match with white walls!

I remember the nights of burning the midnight oil to get things done. Now, its emergency only since shift work and age are playing a huge factor. I appreciate the time and dedication you both put into these builds and videos for us to watch. As for the bars, it would all depend on what you're going to do with the rest of the bike. As the bike is now, I myself would do the gangsters, but this is your bike and your version. Let the haters hate and build it Tanya style.

My vote is for the Gangster bars.
Tires and 450r shocks for that quad. It takes some modification but the 450r shocks was the single biggest upgrade for my 400ex. Their cheap on ebay.

Stay away from the meat hooks, you don't have anything else pointy on the bike and they will look out of place. I actually run 14" Carlini bars on my RK. They're kinda in-between those 2 styles. Same bend but not rounded or pointed at the top, Evil Apes I think. Great bars

Hi. I vote for the Carlini's. but I like the "Flying Apes" the bars bend back towards you, instead of away from you like the Gangsters. I think the meat hooks have been used way too much on bikes. also, if you didn't pick the exhaust yet, I'd go with Dirty Bird Concepts - "L.M.F." and you can guess what the initials mean. and they really are extremely loud! and the look is awesome! you'll want 3-4 solo cups for sure!
oh... I forgot to mention Python makes a cheaper version of this called "Rayzer. you got some pipes on back order, this might be a good option to look at.

Normally I'd go Meathooks all the way but the sharp edges wouldn't seem right. Definitely Gangsters. That's just me tho.

Guys, please don't use powered tools on Harley exhaust flange bolts, unless you like removing cylinder heads to replace the studs.
Please let me help, if you use heat, IMMEDIATELY spray a penetrating fluid as if you are trying to cool it off. It's called, wicking, the fluid will be drawn into the threads as it's cooling down after heating.
Secondly, find a good hardware store that has STAINLESS fastners. When reinstalling use a flat A.N. washer, then a lock washer, then a nut, all STAINLESS. Clean the threads of the studs and apply some Anti-Seize, before the above hardware.
They will NEVER loosen going down the road and NEVER freeze on the studs.
I've been doing it this way since the Evo days. I'm close to the ocean, and even the salt water doesn't negatively affect this. I change exhaust often on the dyno and never had a problem in decades of this procedure.
My sister isn't far from you, I'll see if she knows of a hardware store that won't look at you cross-eyed if you ask for A.N. STAINLESS.
And they look cool too.

A.N. flat washers have a very small O.D. outside diameter so they fit perfectly on the flange and around the pipe without grinding.
I know I started the beginning of the first message saying bolts, but of course I meant nuts.

Six, half dozen, or the other, which do you prefer since you have to look at / ride it ?
Exhaust, since you're not looking for the HP gains a 2 into 1 brings, again, it's what you prefer. A lot of tubers are going with Krome Werks & say they're getting good results. Me, being in Kentucky, I try to use RCXHAUST from RC Components whenever I can. I've not had complaint about them, ever.
And the 4 wheeler, that's a big fat, No !! I'll keep watching.
