Hi guys, I just wanted to say this guide, while still good, was in fact made on day 2. A few things are inaccurate, such as run up 2d after freeze, the safe jump I recommend isn’t real, and 2p is only reversal safe for 10 frame or slower reversals (even if it’s not safe it’s still your best meaty if you want + frames, do c.S if you want damage but it’s no where near as + on block, 5k/2k is your middle ground) Many of these points are addressed near the start of my second video, so watch it even if it’s just for the corrections at the start. I don’t cover hkd wall break until later on but for that generally the best option is 236h6h to start your zoning game, if you don’t know how to zone then watch my second video, even if you need to put it on 1.5x speed cus I talk slow lol. I want to say that there's a combo I've labbed that can get 249 damage at 13:00. It's CH 2H > 214K > c.S > fish hit > Charged 6H > 214H > micro dash > 2D > 214H. Pretty gnarly.
20:55 just want to say, cS into kara236k in the corner does not loop infinitely, if you start the blockstring on a cS that has dash momentum, you can make it loop twice, assuming you dont want to use resources to extend it, and assuming youre cracked at dash cancels. if you cS and then dash cancel brc you can loop it three times which builds a ton of risc, but in my opinion this pressure concept in general has issues, mainly as you correctly stated, if your opponent catches you going for cSkara236k more than once they can fd your cS and push you out way far and now youre playing an rps thats not really in your favor (depending on the matchup) or worst case scenario you are now in a scramble. i think 236k is good in pressure but you cant just autopilot it
Oh yeah I know 5k dc loops tho, even on fd, cs can be used to call out 6ps and space outside of throw range, and you can do meaty 236k md c.S dc kara 236k md c.S all as a block string before you do anything just to build risk.

This is actually the main reason I do meaty 214k into c.S instead of 2h, going directly into 2h off meaty 214k would be best for damge on hit, but if I use it to os the back dash I’d also be doing it on block and it’s way worse on block. So instead I sacrifice a bit of damage to get consistent reward on block and hit while OSing their back dash.
I'm contractually obligated to mention that the 2d 214k meaty 2k/air dash back j.K setup is not technically a true 50/50, the 2k hits faster then the j.K, but you can delay the 2k to make it true, but of course that means the 2k will start losing to them DPing after fish. Most of the time only top players who know the MU really well would do stuff like this so it's probably not important for most watching but I thought I should say it anyways.
