Would you take a new HS, or a 4 years old Passat? I really like the MG, but I'm afraid of its reliability and how seriously the dealer will take the warranty. In UK MG got the worst reliability rating and only 55% of faults were covered by the warranty, 45% of problems had to be covered by owners. It's quite alarming, especially in a car which is a new model on the market, therefore unknown to independent mechanics yet, and with unknown parts availability.
