So sad these beautiful young ladies lost their lives in such a horrible way. Thanks for telling their stories Ron so they are not forgotten.
I hear your sadness, frustration and anger. I echo it. I was police wife for 28 years here in Australia and believe me, the police do their job, they apprehend the criminals and get them to court, only for them to be given a light sentence or a slap on the wrist and let go, out there to re offend. I could never be a defence attorney. I would never sleep.

When you read or hear about these horrible incidents, that people kill,then become" perfect" citizens until DNA catches them, you wonder how many there were and are out there before DNA. Its chilling.
Police can only do so much it's the judge and lawyers fault I don't blame the officers for doing their job
I will NEVER understand how someone who purposely takes a life does not get at least 30 plus years without parole.

This is the type of crimes that made me so paranoid for my two girls that are now 40 and 44. Born in 78, and 82. I didn’t leave them out of my sight. And starting in 2005 with my grand kids. Oh the stress I have had. It’s been hard for my girls that they experienced my fear. What a paradise it would be if there were no human predators.
I was born in 84 and I’m the exact same way with my child
I also worried about my older children who are 25/24 and 21, i would always worry about there safety so you can imagine my shock when it was my 11 year old boy who was attacked by four 20 year old's, we worry about things but in the end it will be the thing you least expect.
My friends 18yr old daughter was hitchhiking in Florida got picked up by a serial killer. He was eventually caught. Her only child. Terrible for the parents they never get over it.
Praying for their families. I can not think of anything that would describe the anger that I feel for this man. He is a monster!

Ron I enjoy watching your videos I missed a couple of them that I went back and watch today. I had Lower Lumber Decompresssion Fusion surgery on my back on July 1st. They just released me from hospital Tuesday! Take care and stay safe out there!

How the hell does a double murder get parole??? WTF!!!!!! I don't get it. U can't fix a murderer. He's sick in the head. I hope someone will go to it n fight to keep him in jail. God luv the 2 beautiful ladies he killed.

I d like to know more about the farm house - what was he doing out there when his first victim met up with him- what connection did he have to that area , and why return the sane area with the second girl. They have a lot of the same characteristics as well- so who was he so angry with ( overkill) kind of like Ted Bundy.
I thought same thing overkill to victims has meaning. Predatory opportunist killer spaces his murders out.
I'd like to know more about the story too. The girls look very similar. Did they remind him of his mother or an old girlfriend
RIGHT?! It seems like he would have some sort of connection to this area. Plus the overkill - lots of times those kind of vicious attacks have connections or motives.

For me, the scariest part is to discover that the killer is described as a “honourable and loving husband and father”…. *I mean, the TWO FACES OF A DEVIL.*
How can I a person commit a crime like that and turn the page to “become”(or PORTRAYAL to be) such a quiet and “good man”, above any suspicions.
Make us wonder if that lovely neighbour everyone of us always had was actually a ruthless killer before. Damn.

I am 60 years old but was a young woman when Ted was taking women. I'm ashamed to say this but he was exceedingly debonair and handsome and I dare say he probably would have charmed the socks off of me! In his final interview he warned that there are many more out there just like him. And so it was and is and will continue to be............Until Jesus comes back someday.
@@dizzylizzy6571 I don't blame you. He was so charming, elegant, handsome that nobody would ever dare he was a serial killer or even that he could do any harm. Exactly because of that he made that many victims(legend says he killed 8-10 times more). Terribly scary.
Thank you for sharing these stories. It reminds me of the time I almost became a kidnap victim when I was walking home from school. I had flown to Ohio from Utah to help my grandmother when my grandpa died. I was getting ready to fly back home, it was almost the end of the school year. I had signed out of school that day, so I didn't stay at school all day, I just had to do paperwork, and walked out that morning. One of the faculty members asked me if I needed a ride, and I said no, so they let me walk out. There were several miles of that road that was remote, there were just woods on both sides. The only spot where there were businesses, a guy in a red sport car saw me and pulled over on the side of the road. I broke and ran, and I ran into the bowling alley. About 10 minutes later he was still sitting there. There happened to be a police station next to where he pulled off the road, and I pretended like I was going in, and he peeled gravel and took off in the opposite direction! I still had several miles to walk, and I was scared to death he was going to come back. Because my grandmother didn't drive, and my parents were in another state, and everyone thought I was still at school, it would have been hours before anyone noticed I was gone. I would say that my parents would have never known what happens to me! It's scary to think about 😳

Margie didn't get 20 years on this earth, and her killer only got 20 years for taking her life. So very sad.
Cindy, great point - we were only 18yrs old!!! We just graduated HS - June 1978 and Margie went missing in September. My friend Margie never got to be 20yrs old. Stay safe❤✝️❤

My parents were always very cautious & protective of my sister & I back in the 70s... now I know why...😪🙏🏼 hitch hiking was so common back then...I admit we did it frequently. Thank God we were never hurt. 🙏🏼 Such heart break

This hits home really hard. So many young women were killed in the 70s and left with no answers. I was also a sophomore in high school in 1973 and hitchhiked to my part-time job. My mother had passed two years prior and my father was traveling from Ohio to Chicago for his job . I could've easily disappeared. I was alone most of my childhood and teenage years. My good friend is from Bolingbrook. We discussed these cases and many more. Ted Bundy also traveled through during these years. For me it's a miracle ✨️
When the Green River killer was investigating the detectives tripped over bodies not knowing what a dumping ground was and sought Ted Bundy for investigating. Sick bastards.
So sad. I always think of those areas as being “safe” and Chicago as dangerous. A person is not safe anywhere.
So sorry Nancy about your friend Margi when I think of the amount of times I have had to walk alone in Minnesota, and gotten rides alone it is a miracle I am writing this all these years later. Rest Peacefully Margie and Bobbie.
My god, I never heard of this story and I research a ton of cases in the Chicago area. Those poor girls...I can’t imagine how terrifying their final moments on Earth were like.
I feel so bad for Morris' wife and kids. They lived under the same roof with a complete and utter monster. As for him? I don't feel anything but anger and disgust. He deserves no mercy. 20 years is not enough.

Maybe Morris was sexually assaulting the teens who resisted and he killed them to keep them from talking ?

Hello Ron, I love how you always leave a flower for these beautiful never will be forgotten souls🤗 I'll never understand how can anyone hurt and murdered in such horrible ways, specially these beautiful young women that were just beginning to live their lives and dreams. It's sad to know that it continues, we still losing beautiful girls to horrible murders from time to time, and it needs to end!
So sad for the families of these 2 young ladies. They should have had a lot of life ahead. Margi was just a year older than I am. Why on earth would Morris have any chance at parole? He needs to leave prison in a box!

20 years is better than what the man who murdered my grandfather received. He got 8yrs and then moved into a house right across from my grandmother's. The police told her to deal with it. The guy could live wherever he wanted. This was in the 50s and she couldn't move due to not having a stable income anymore and 7 underage kids to raise on her own. She had to put up with his smirk for almost 36yrs before he died . At least she outlived him by 4yrs. Sometimes I really wonder if justice is ever really served. I feel awful that Margi's killer only got eight years. Basically she was deemed to be collateral damage as he was sentenced to life already for the first case tried. Her family could only know he was the one who did it and that he'd never get out. I guess that's a consolation in itself. Thanks for leaving her the rose.
It's Chicago and they have only gotten worse.. my fiance was born in Illinois and he says he would never go back. God Bless these ladies!

wow,it brought back the memory of myself when I hitchiked, only once and I was so scared, but actually never did it again. I'm so heartbroken for those two girls ,and their families, thankyou Ron, for another interesting story.
You might find the case of DeAndra Fiorlucci interesting. She was murdered in Oct. 2000 in Vermont. She was 15. There are a lot of twists and turns in this case. She's buried in a very well known cemetery, Hope Cemetery, in Barre Vermont.
My heart still hurts for her after all these years. Only days earlier she had been at my house with a bunch of kids and was talking about tarot and what was in her future..
So if you ever get up this way, I'd be willing to share what I know.

In June of 1996 just days before my eldest son's graduation from Barre's Spaulding High School, his classmate, Amy Hilferty, was struck down by lightening while walking off a softball field right in the middle of the city. She was only 17. She was an outstanding member of the class leaders as well as the recipient of many many awards. She had a full college scholarship at a prestigious university waiting for her in the coming fall. Out of her entire team she was only one hit, she died almost immediately. Her father, a coach was there.
Amy is also buried in Hope Cemetery. Both Amy's and DeAndra's graves have gifts, flowers and rememberences left for them consistently year round. Two very different tragedies, that killed two teenage girls who were Spaulding High School students in our very small city only a few years apart...

Hope Cemetery is known worldwide for it's beauty and granite work. Barre is called the Granite City and this cemetery is a showcase for so many works of art in its sculptures. Many of my closest family are resting there. When the time comes, I have a plot waiting for me near my mother, grandparents and others. It's a beautiful place with history and so many stories!

He stole more live from them than he was condemned to serve in prison.
What gets me is the location of the murders, was it a known abandoned spot amongst the locals? How did he know about it? Did he have a connection to the farm? Why were the stabbings so brutal and why stab someone so many times if you aren't emotionally connected to the victim? Did the girls remind him of someone and took his rage out on them? Next question is how do we know for sure he didn't murder others? Something is not right about him especially since he so readily confessed to the 2 murders. Did he travel alot as i'm guessing their are others that haven't been discovered. Another great video from Faces of the Forgotten. Personally for me my standing on perps who kill another person is The Death Penalty. Life for a Life.

Now how can a married man with a loving wife and with children ever conceived of such a crime or any crime for that matter. Now he had a family that loved him but apparently love in this case did not conquer all. I guess that I shouldn't be too surprised, I just watched two episodes of Very Scary People. The subject here was about THE ICEMAN, he was the very essence of evil and his family love him dearly, but his family had no idea of what his lifestyle was and what he was doing and what he did.
