Yes ive been picking up that Voodo Ranger lately. Its a great IPA for the money aswel as Torpedo but I got burned out on that one LOL! I was surprised the Dogfishead was so low in your ratings.
Hey Darwin, I just discovered your channel. I really appreciate your ability to break out the aromas and flavors, and revisiting each beer is interesting in the fact that new characters present themselves. Great content, keep it up!!
He's done a bunch of others. One with Russian Imperial Stouts (Ten Fidy, Founders, and Stone I think), another one with porters, and one with Belgian brewed quads (Westy 12, Abt 12, and Rochefort 10). I see a "Best Double IPAs" one in my side list right now as well. I'm sure he'll do others though, or even revisit some of those.
"X-IPA" is the best! It would've won hands down. Seriously though great video. I love battle beers. Anyone who has never done this and says things like "Two Hearted is the best", should put their opinion to the test and taste it blind against similar products.
Wow! One of my favorite videos so far. As you said, very surprised about two-hearted being second to last; but even more surprising to see Torpedo rank so high! Maybe it's because I haven't had it in years, and never had it that fresh. Need to revisit.

I've had them all. My three favorites: Torpedo, Two Hearted Ale, and 60 Minutes. Jai Alai is too boozy/syrupy for my taste. Ranger is kind of plain tasting. Stone IPA is pretty darn good... But it doesn't seem to draw me in for some reason.

I had the Jai alai IPA again; this time only two weeks old and it was much better. Jai Alai seems to get overly malty when it's not rather fresh. It's a pretty darn good beer when fresh.

Bad list lol. I had all these IPA's and definitely would not rank Jai Alai #1 lol. You should try stones Delicious instead of the one you tasted.
I guess I need to revisit that guy. Jai Alai for sure is a top top IPA though.
@DarwinsBeerReviews Fair enough. I feel like it has like a creamy, weird sweet taste to it. I didn't dislike it, but I wasn't rushing to buy it again. Maybe I have to try it again.
