Also Louise: *gives a really lengthy, eloquent and overall fantastic answer when discussing the psychology of children relating to them using social media*

An ageing tattoo is a beautiful sign and mark of the journeys that life takes you on, just like wrinkles and smile lines! You really do only live once!

I am a tattooed gal. I have stars on my back that I got each time I went through something hard and survived. I also got one on my ankle for my brother and sister and I. I also have one on my ribs that says remember love. (It's to remember to love myself). And the last one is a wedding ring tattoo. I think a tattoo should be very personal. Even if you fall out of love with in your case, Disney, at a time you still loved it and it's a memory.
As far as tattoo aging. I see it like stretch marks after pregnancy. I've battled life and earn the art on my body temple. Even if it looks poorly, I will still remember why I got it and the feeling.

Maybe your Final Cut Pro preferences are set to 'keep files in place' instead of 'copy to library'? In that case you'll have to keep the hard drive with the original files connected while you're editing! You can also try to use the 'relink files' option where you locate the original files. Hope this helps if you didn't know this yet! ❤️

I’m 20 now and started social media when I was 13 and looking back I could have definitely waited another few years to get any accounts. I think by 15/16 my peers were targeted or even bullied for not having any so I may have wanted it at that age but I could have waited until then!

Thoughts on tattoos: I’m 21 and got my very first tattoo in June. I’d never been that bothered about then but then I took on the biggest adventure of my life and moved to Orlando Florida to work in Disney World for a year as a uni placement. I knew it was something I would want to remember forever and be a permanent part of my life, and what’s more permanent than a tattoo? So now on my upper thigh I have a moon and three stars, taken from the design on sorcerer Mickey’s hat. It’s not an obvious Disney tattoo but that’s because it means so much more to me than just ‘disney’ (I.e. moving away from home, family, friends, some of the most amazing and hardest times of my life) and yet it’s a great symbol to remember my times working at Fantasmic and seeing sorcerer Mickey at the top of the mountain every night. Even if I don’t like the design in 10 years, it will remind me of the most amazing time of my life and all I had achieved and that’s not something I ever want to forget ♥️

Such a lovely video Louise 💗 myself and my mum were listening to your podcast appearance on Katie Pipers Extraordinary People (I had already listened when it first came out but mum is new to the world of podcasts!) and honestly you can totally notice your degree in the way that you come across both in your videos and on that podcast. We both said so many times how you seem to understand and show empathy to situations, even ones that could firstly be negative. You show so much kindness and empathy and come across as being so fair. Refreshing to listen to, lots of love x

I had my tattoo at 20, and it’s a small flower, around the size of my thumb, right up high on my thigh, imagine it falling across the line where your pants would be. I never really thought about what it would look like in many years, I just made sure it was somewhere where I could cover it up should I want to. Maybe something to consider, so you can show it off or hide it as you wish 😊
Ps. Love the Q&As, I’d happily sit and watch them all day

Tattoo answer. I am 30 years old. I work in a very professional government setting, in the US. I have 2 full sleeves, both my sides, and many others. I cover mine up when working, personal choice. I don't mind that people are aware I have them. I don't care that they will change as I age. I have had my first sleeve for 12 years. It's apart of who I am. In regards to my other tattoos, do I still love them like I did. Short answer, No. But I love the woman I am becoming. They represent my story, it shows my growth. I still get tattoos. I love them. I'm proud of where I have been, and they are reminders of what I use to be like.

Hello, tattoos! They do fade. They go blue with age and look less intense, they’ll always be there but less intensely so. Honestly, old people’s tattoos look brilliant! And I think you’ll always remember a happy part in your life or a part that you needed your saying within and it becomes part of your “tapestry” and life story. Mine are only 3 years at the oldest currently but I still love them ☺️ I really enjoy them

Wow, I randomly put this video while I am packing up to move away from home, my parents home to my own home, and I walked back into my bedroom when the question came up about anyone going through a major life change.
Thank you Louise, today was the first time I think this move has hit me and I leave in 3 days! But have been planning this since February. I was getting nervous and your words really made me feel great and even though I am nervous this experience will make me feel stronger and is the best thing for me.

I work in a care home and sometimes we get residents that have tattoos. We find it amazing because you can learn so much about someone by what they felt important enough to put on their body. We had a guy recently in his 70s who was covered in tattoos and he couldn’t speak anymore but his body told his life story which was so amazing x

Love your videos Louise! On the tattoo note, I think a nice way to look at it is not about how they will look when you're older because to be honest I think as an 80 year old you won't be too concerned with how you look, but instead look at it as a snapshot of a time when you were a young Mum and you took your kids to Disneyland and you have amazing memories of that, and a tattoo to mark that time in your life. That's how I like to think of tattoos anyway, if they are significant you will never regret them. xx

My opinion on what tattoos will look like when you grow old, is basically that you’ll look wrinkly and a bit odd anyway so why not have a few decorations to look at that may remind you of important parts of your life. Especially if you become forgetful or have lost things that were once special to you, you’ll always have those reminders ☺️ Love this video Louise, Its so nice to see more stripped back chatty videos, makes me miss old school UA-cam! 💕

Thought I'd put in my two cents on the social media topic with a rare positive story. I grew up in a very conservative, small town (I lived in Alabama, in the US) and I'm bi, and I never felt safe or secure enough to tell anyone in my family or any friends I had at the time. But I got a Facebook and Tumblr when I was ~9 or 10 and using Tumblr growing up was life-changing for me. The ability to anonymously ask questions and discover new, different people and perspectives on sexuality through social media really helped me broaden my worldview and learn that who I was, was ok. Yes, social media can be toxic, but it can also be beautiful and sometimes a much-needed source of freedom and anonymity for kids who feel like they can't share certain things with their parents, etc. :)

You are amazing! You give me so much advice because I have a 1 1/2 year old daughter! Please please do a video about mother guilt, I struggle with that so much and I’m sure a ton of others would benefit fro knowing they are not alone! Love you and your videos!!!!!!!

Louise i don’t know what took me so long but I’ve just finished Wilde Like Me, (it was a true work of art) and I have immediately bought Wilde about the girl. It’s fair to say I won’t leave it this long again to read a book you release!! I can’t wait to see what the next two book have in store!

I enjoyed this Q & A a lot. Your views on child social media and cognitive development are spot on (in my opinion). We have seen how you have matured through the years and it’s good to sit with you in (semi) serious mode. Another Q&A please. BTW - well done Savannah. Please keep the Q&A to You Tube.

The way I look at it, tattoos are a generational thing. I currently have a leg sleeve and a small flower tattoo on my ribs. When I am in my 80s everyone else in my generation will look the same because we will all be covered in tattoos. Live for the moment and if you want something get it! Love you Louise. You make every day brighter! 💝
