@Bogdan_Vader Not if you're using the wither to actually _break_ the blocks they're on, instead of the projectiles... presumably there's a way to get the ender dragon to do something similar with DELETING the blocks things are placed on, but that might be a _bit_ more effort than anyone really wants to go through 🤣
technically withers don't fall under the "explosion" category but I thought it was close enough to put them in that category and yes withers would also work for farming sugar cane. Not that I would recommend that.
@@redstoneslime11 No structures means no villager houses for cobblestone or lava. So it's impossible to craft stuff like pistons, dispensers, repeaters etc.
Unfortunately, a lot more efficient than using explosions for most of these use cases. Like, surprisingly good - I wasn't aware of how much of a difference in ravager block breaking existed between bedrock and java before, get ravager snow farms intead of wither ones - slightly more reasonable? I enjoy the squibble inspired video.
going in I thought it was going to be total garbage but I unfortunately made something that isn't bad. Maybe if I use withers to farm sugar cane next time I can end up with total garbage.
Not sure how bedrock work, but there's more effective way for glowberry farm in java. it's similar to berry farm, using foxs to collect, but glowberry farm also needs bees to make the berry glow.
wait, make a giant cube of pumkin plants, have some piston array to control which can grow, and then make a 3d printer out of pumkins that can then be harvested for pie
It isn't, flying machines and bonemeal powered farms generally do everything better. Except snow farms, just people have already been using ravagers in snow farms.
One advantage of ravager farm is lag friendliness. It should be much less laggy at scale. Or at least it's quieter. You don't go near ravagers anyway so this point could be moot.
realised that ravagers can't break basically anything in java (minecraft.wiki/w/Ravager#Behavior )... they might not even be able to sit in minecarts (did not test) so yeah another nice thing that is only in bedrock ... rip
2:40 on Java it does the same thing so there is now reason to say in B.E. but the thing that won’t work on Java is a redstone torch powered from observer
Wait, why not? I know burnout not sure how that happens on Bedrock but observer is fast enough to trigger it probably. But when it comes to soft or hard powered i think observer should do it
sometimes I will say "in bedrock edition" if it is a mechanic that I think might be missing from java. I don't test everything to see if it works in both versions.
@nikolaskuklis5925 thats because its just doesnt. Simplest explanation is that torches need 1 tick pulse or longer but the game turns off observer before it powers a torch so it isnt powered
@@redstoneslime11 that's what i'm saying (one of my friends on discord pinged me and was like "bro i deadass thought this was a secret channel of yours" so i decided to comment to see if you would see my comment lol)
Bedrock is absurd..... Bonemeal just randomly got extra powers in the port. Ravager's effect on blocks is cool in this application but mob griefing is a really annoying mechanic generally. The hermitcraft frogger game can't even be made in bedrock because of this?
at that point it might as well be a lag machine. Yeah I didn't feel like optimizing that farm more because it already produced more snow than anyone would need.
"There is a fourth. Ravagers."
And here I'd been doing it with withers this whole time!
Tbf this is just an explosion method with extra steps

There is a fifth it is using something to remove the water
@@karal_the_crazy A sixth option is to quickly place and remove water on the sugarcane using a dispenser
Even better idea: connect the rails for all of these farms so one ravager can do everything
that is a funny idea, I just don't feel like doing it.
Nice! Some of these farms would be genuinely useful in structureless superflat since there's no pistons, withers, or easily renewable explosions.
why can't pistons be used?
@@redstoneslime11 No structures means no villager houses for cobblestone or lava. So it's impossible to craft stuff like pistons, dispensers, repeaters etc.
I also thought that when watching the video

New discovery: new brother

are you impersonating me?
hmm
@@redstoneslime11 I didn't even know you existed until you came in my recommended feed

I saw the thumbnail/title and clicked because I thought it was Squibble lol. Your content is great too
same
Thumbnail was "somewhat" inspired by squibble.

I'm sure there are many ways to make a better version of all the farms in this video.
@ well, if it wasn’t a bedrock-only feature, I would definitely use it for snow and cane farm.
4:31 usually you don’t need shulkers of anything but when you do you build these farms
Moment of silence for all the realms players who can't get ravagers.
Can you not get ravagers in realms?
what? Is that a thing?
Please explain ❤
Raid omen hasn't worked on realms since 1.21
Has for me
Great video, I didn't even know flickering rails could do that, that's incredibly helpful, thank ye!
Gotta say, I really loved these farms, from the goofy to the actually awesome
Ooooooh. Yes… especially for bedrock wireless, this will make farming completely silent, (not sending wireless like pistons)
Next step: Using unpaid 'interns' to farm for you.
This is very interesting! Keep it up
A benefit is you won’t here the anoying piston sounds if you use a ravenger instead.
wait, make a giant cube of pumkin plants, have some piston array to control which can grow, and then make a 3d printer out of pumkins that can then be harvested for pie
I did this on a superflat world where I didn’t have access to pistons
bro lookin like a sideways thwomp
:,3 why does this seem like it could actually be a new meta

WOW thank you i will for sure use this in my superflat structureless world for sugarcane farm Thank you so much

didn't realize this was a bedrock exclusive feature.
I feel like an iron farm is also a flower farm.

Nice farming! I never knew ravagers dropped chorus flowers as well!
I got a mushroom farm that uses water-logged pistons and a compact circuit on bedrock, but I would love to see if it could be made more compact.
Finally! Bedrock redstone is real redstone, and this is just… crazy. I’m going to use something like this at some point just to smite my friends
I agree, bedrock redstone is real redstone.
From first seconds i was like, huh, ravengers not breaking blocks in minecart like this in java, must be bedrock)
Boo for bedrock but I do respect the creative thinking. Mojang added custom behaviors to the Ravagers and you exploited it. Well done.
I hope Ravagers become an actual redstone component. Just like logs and leaves did. And walls. And other bizarre items.
Honestly want to build this in my hardcore world, good video 👍👍
Honestly might be worth it just for the flex, even if it's not maximally efficient
How do you have rails on half slabs in the thumbnail
the slabs aren't bottom slabs, they only look like it because of the perspective.
They also insta break leaves making the viable for tree farms
true, I just didnt feel like making a tree farm for it to use ravagers for leaves only.
Mr beast mascot if they're black instead blue light
I made a ravager door where the blocks are leaves
Does the snow farm work on java? never knew ravengers could break snow layers
ravagers can only break leaf blocks on java.
Exploiting the ravanger
good video, i didnt knew it.
I wouldn't call this a component
More an unpaid redstone intern

they are closer to grey and yes they don't get paid

that was fun to watch
You can use water also btw
True
Can you use ravager to harvest stuff in java?
Only leaf blocks.
80 snowballs a second is nothing. ive got a design for 320 a second
at that point it might as well be a lag machine. Yeah I didn't feel like optimizing that farm more because it already produced more snow than anyone would need.
@redstoneslime11 it actually runs amazing
Did ppl not know about ravagers already?
I know people have used ravagers for snow farms, but for the rest, I dont think so.
@ the sugar cane ravager farm is a well known meta. Never seen someone use them on minecarts whizzing around tho. That's pretty cool
Гениально
What about java?
ravagers on java can only break leaves
bro use /hud to hide your effect status
I didn't find that small icon in the top annoying but if I remember I will do /hud or just remove the effect.
@redstoneslime11 it kinda annoys me on mobile cause it's so big it almost blocked my right side of the screen
