Sara wrote the lyrics and music for the Broadway play, “Waitress.” I highly recommend watching her video for “She Used To Be Mine” Then I would LOVE for you to watch Shoshana Bean’s performance of this on Broadwaycom channel. Shoshana Bean is another powerhouse vocalist. (Side note: both Scott and Mitch from PTX have sung with her .❤)

She's amazing. This was inspired by a friend of hers and the friend's struggle with coming out. She has always been very supportive of the LBGTQ community.
Oh wow, I'd almost forgotten how much I loved sara and her music, it normally wasn't my style music but for some reason she was just something special, her and her piano were heavenly. I also loved her on the sing off, she could offer constructive criticism and also be kind, positive and smart. Thank you for this gem, caught me off guard but what a beautiful surprise.
I highly recommend her cover of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," but only if you're familiar with the original. Sir Elton himself loved her rendition & flew her to England to perform it there...

Shes amazing, and this shows her fun side and her skill as a pop singer / songwriter !
If you want to hear her skill as a live and emotive storyteller, then as suggested below "She used to be mine " from the waitress is moving and awesome. But I will suggest two others that are my ABSOLUTE favourites.
The first is "Once upon a time" performed live at the Kennedy Centre with the NSO (there are actually a bunch of songs from that concert, all of which are worth watching) This one you may recognise Ben FOlds from the sing off also ! Its a display of her incredible ability to tell a story, and her undeniable skill as a singer

The second is a song which she wrote about the plight of refugees and performed with John Legend - "A safe place to land" - the video is another live performance. The lyrics are beautiful and heartfelt and the performance is flawless
