    Thanks for the review! So glad you liked the park. It was so cool to see the smiles on everyone's face at the Grand Opening on Saturday.

      Oh man I bet the grand opening was so fun! I saw a couple instagram posts and it looked like A TON of people showed up. That's awesome

      @@MTB_Corbin We figured we had over 300 people show up. Tons of fun, lots of smiles. It was a great event.

    Thanks for the great review. We are going to build a short cut out from the middle of Madrona out to the road (south climb connection on TF) that climbs back to the top of Slippery Slopes and Cross Cut. Unfortunately the terrain, wetlands and budget didn't allow for more dedicated climbs. There were trails proposed in the big dead zone in the middle of the park, but wetlands forced us out of the area.

      That’ll be a great addition! Thanks for the added note about the terrain difficulty navigating the wetlands.

    Hey Corbin, what a great review of the trail system! A lot of the things you called out were things that the trail designer specifically tried to do. Glad you appreciate it all the hardwork and planning that was put into it.
    Hope to see you out there sometime!

      Thanks for watching! Builders did a great job on this one and give me a shout if you see me!

    I love the trail markers having a clear expectation set. We need a lot more of this type of marker being used. Looks like an awesome little trail system. That progression area is sweet. The problem with not having a good lap return setup is people are going to cut their own in no matter what. If people want to session a line this is inevitable.

      The markers are so nice. I agree, I wish more trail systems did that!

    Great job. I've been there several times but haven't hit everything you showed. We're very excited to have this in our area.

      Around the Battle Ground/Vancouver area would be preferable!

    As far as returning to the top from resto mod and slippery slopes, just turn onto the end of t.v. Party and just before the last big double there’s a trail that crosses it and climbs directly up to crosscut. You’re welcome ! ;)

    • @MTB_Corbin
      @MTB_Corbin  5 місяців тому

      That's great! I'm always nervous to go up one way downhill trails. The end of TV party does have long lines of sight though with the massive berms. Probably a good call there, thanks for the tip!

    Went there a day after the grad opening. The green trails are the best I have ever ridden! The roller can be doubled or tripled based on skill levels. The flow trials of all levels roll super fast and are a ton of fun.

    Nice video of this new MTB specific Pierce County Park. I was also impressed with the restrooms (way better than Tiger or Raging). Rode this just before grand opening with some local riders. Also hit some the other trails in the area. Old timers may remember this area as Victor Falls.

    Nice video bro! I notice you like to pull your handlebar back toward you when you hit some rollers or jumps. You should learn how to manual and then manual the rollers!

      I'd love to be able to manual through rollers! Gotta spend quite a bit of time practicing

    I did like 5 run ups on the drop at 15:50 and can't bring myself to try it. looks so small on camera but the landing is so steep and kind of goes to nothing lol

    These used to be dirt bike trails. I miss the good old days. It really sucks they built all those houses

  • @Alex-xt9hn
    @Alex-xt9hn 5 місяців тому +3

    Until they build a more straightforward climbing trail, I don’t think it’s worth the drive

    • @MTB_Corbin
      @MTB_Corbin  5 місяців тому +1

      Yeah may not be worth it to everyone... I could see a ton of riders having a blast but there are other systems for more downhill sessioning stuff like Tennant.
