I feel like Dr. Two Brains actually has the capacity to be evil. This is especially shown when his other brain takes over. Doing on the other hand, I mean, he arguably should be charged with potential animal abuse with a few of his explosions and traps for Perry. Besides that, I don't see him as a villain since he's counting on being stopped. I haven't seen this show in ages, but the Doc here never felt like he wanted to be stopped
The fact that the educational part of the show comes from the protagonist being a self obsesed smart ass who will constantly umm actuallying literally anyone in any situation is genious. MLP got kind of close with making their educational stuff literal homework the protagonist had to do, but it still dosent feel as organic and it dosent really add much to the character herself. Also it just makes more sense that a little girl is pretentious about reading a lot, than a grown ass horse woman somehow not knowing basic things about relationships just because she was somewhat reclusive before. And its just more fun when you allow your main character to be a little shit lol. Ouside of those I dont remember any shows that justified the educational stuff in universe. Im sure they exist but Ive never seen them.
