- At his eighth grade graduation from the University of Chicago Charter School, student Camron Lee recites "War on Black Boys," a spoken word piece by Kale Nelson that lays bare the struggles of Black children and their parents in America.
Powerful and sad at the same time. Congrats to all of the graduates.

This young man should not have to do this, while it’s amazing to see resilience against tyranny, this whole generation is robbed of their innocence. They should be enjoying their childhoods, not worry for their lives constantly. Tragic. May this world pull its collective head out their ass one day.
