Jocelyn, As co owner along with my mother of the Hamburg Antiques Center. We thank you for your patronage and the video you created of our shop in Hamburg, Pa. We are as you said a family owned shop and we do restock items on a daily basis. 95% of our items come directly out of someones home and are available to be purchased by a new owner. As we are in Hamburg a small town in northern Berks County we try to keep our prices fair and competitive for the collector or reseller. We enjoyed your video very much. Once again thank you for stopping to see us and hope to see you again in the future.
All I could think of when you started finding stuff is..."Oh Boy Doris! Meet Jocelyn...she is going to make your day... probably the best day of your year!. What a way for a retailer to end the year. So Awesome!😁
Hello from Ohio... That is so cool...my mom's name was Doris Berry. She passed away at 51 yrs old and I was 18 and a senior at Jonathan Alder High School...
All amazing items that will bring joy to collectors and enthusiasts! It's great to see a reseller buy an abundance of quality items and have the guts to test the waters on it, see value in it and give people a chance to buy something they might not be able to in their area. Kudos to you!!!
I bet the owner literally jumped for joy, and maybe whooped a little at how much Jocelyn spent. And think of the publicity. Not only is her shop on youtube, she can proudly announce, "Crazy Lamp Lady shopped here!" Great finds for Jocelyn as well.
Ahhhh! Jocilyn was in Hamburg, PA!!! I live just 10 minutes south of there. Near celebrity siting, lol. Love you Jocelyn please come back soon. You are always welcome here!
I can't tell you how many times I've driven by this shop. The redware was very nice! Mr. Breininger was my high school biology teacher. There was also a decent collection of Fiesta ware and Hall ceramics.
I know it isn't worth much for resale but everytime I see the green depression glass my little heart just goes crazy. It's a childhood thing for me, my mom had some beautiful pieces!
Fun visit to the Hamburg Antique Center today . Thanks to CLL I scored a few vintage Valentine treasures today . So happy Joselyn came to Berks County .
I used to live in Hamburg and was surprised to see Doris Berry is now an antique store. It was a cute little clothing store. I'm glad I now have an antique store to visit when I go back home to visit family.
Hi Jocelyn. Lovedd shopping with you so many beautiful things even spotted a few my mum had somey sister has others I have. Really love the fairy light with the winter winter sc
I am so glad that your more valuable finds are listed as buy it now. I was always disappointed when items would sell for less than what you paid for them.
Andrew being the history buff that he is would really enjoy some of the mudlarkers and bottledump diggers over in England who have channels here on UA-cam. They find amazing things all the way back to Roman times on the fore shore of the Thames, They research and share the stories behind the things they find. Some good ones to check out are Nicola White and SiFinds.
Oh I too loved everything you picked up. The kitty plates were great. And a nice buy with the fairy lights. Actually everything the glass pieces were beautiful and reasonably priced. Best of all, Joselyn was having some fun; the video was enjoyable to watch. Thanks
FANTASTIC haul !! Can’t believe you passed on the Russian lacquer box,not only “collectors”would buy and Alladen on his magic carpet, and Yes you should be the “Bird Lady of PA” 😉
Great store. Wish we had beautiful stores like that here. Antique shops are rare now in Perth Australia. Love art glass, & fairy lights. They are impossible to find. Such beautiful things 💕
I'm catching up on vlogs and this one was awesome to watch! I could tell you were overwhelmed with excitement by the way you were talking! 🤣 I'm sure the family/owners were happy to meet you! You gave them the business in a good way! 🤣 Hope you go back soon! Really enjoyed this vlog!
You are so funny "Lutz ,Loetz" I still can't pronounce it! " Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" is a song. What a spectacular place. It's so much fun when you get excited. You are looking and we out here are looking, but you see what we don't see. That is surprising. So we must really look when we go glass hunting.
Thanks for showing that antique stores have great prices, too! Big spender, but great pieces! I just started watching you again, and I wondered if you still have the storefront?
Fantastic store. Thanks for shopping local. I did see a little baseball ⚾️ vase or something, you went by really fast. I collect non affiliated baseball quality stuff, which is hard to find, lol.
When you have so many fantastic opportunities, anything iffy is easier to leave behind. The lacquer box is beautiful. There are a lot of items with a more stable return. Wouldn’t you just love to be able to source wherever this family sources from?!
Are you sure the plates with the cats have not been painted later, especially since they are painted very similarly? Most of them are not painted on the body of the plate, just the animals and border.
I’m amazed at all the places you get to go to and find so many beautiful pieces. I’d have to have hours just to look, it’s mesmerizing. That little bird was darling. Congrats on the fairy lights. They’re gorgeous BTW, did your Mary had a Little Lamb ever sell?
Those kitten plates look like they were re-painted by someone else. Are there orginal plates with coloring like that? If so, I too have never seen anything like them. Jos bought some amazing pieces and you could tell what a joy this new shop brought to her, what fun!

What a fantastic shop and video. You had me laughing when you said the only time you were in Hamburg was to the Starbucks, great job as always!
This shop kinda reminds me of my mother’s store, only her’s was much more cluttered with antique furniture, Jardinières, art, jewelry, etc.. Lol
I don’t collect antiques , thrift shop, or decorate in vintage. But I love watching your videos.
Wonderful shop.

Not open as a storefront but being used for warehousing and shipping eBay sales.

Great fines for sure.

I found a German ash tray with 3 geese on it at a thrift store for a few dollars.
Great shop and video
