    I have the 16X, they are very good indeed, sharp, contrasty and surprisingly bright; they are also nitrogen gas filled to prevent internal fogging, which adds to their overall build quality.
    Their image stabilization is very good in surpassing moderate shakes, but a bit behind Canon and Fujinon in handling quick/ sudden shakes. Still impressive and super practical.
    A little disappointing though that they are now made in China (mine were made in Japan); according to Kite tech support, they did everything possible to keep their quality the same. I'm guessing most of the optics is still made in Japan anyway, it's probably just the assembly that was moved, so probably minimal impact. Overall these are truly excellent.

      My fujinon x12 & x16 techno stabi's are also made in China, there are so many parts on these kite is bino's that tell you they are made by fujinon they must have moved the factory to China 😢

    How is the image quality compare to canon 10x42?

      Hey there! I haven't had a chance to compare them to the Cannon unfortunately, so I can say. Thanks for watching though!

    I have the Sig 16x42 Zulu6's. Field of view is narrow, so I might try to 12x42 for general hunting. The stabilization makes a huge difference, I spotted way more game than normal this past season. I can also score most line calls on archery targets from the shooting stake.

    • @BackwoodsPursuit
      @BackwoodsPursuit  Рік тому +1

      Yeah, I've certainly noticed a smaller field of view, but you are 100% right...that stabilized makes a world of difference! Thanks for watching!

    They look similar to Sig’s image stabilized design, wonder if same company makes them. Optics industry has been slow to improve and adopt image stabilization tech. It would be a game changer if they adopt it for high power spotting scopes.

      Hey there! We've actually got both the Sigs and these that we are testing side by side right now. They are quite different in their fit and feel overall. Stay tuned for that review! Thanks for watching!

    I got them all fujinon 14x40 is the best, this Power control is a stupidest design ever. try to use on the helicopter and look down or from the tree to track animal . idiots who never use binoculars must be power savers design it. over ALL stabilization is good.

      @skhochay thanks for your insight. I can see how ifn you were using them at extreme angles it could be problematic. I never ran into thay issue using them out west here, but I didn't use them from a helicopter or tree stand. Thanks for watching!

      @@BackwoodsPursuit improvements: extra battery storage connect to main bank . get rid of out tilt switch . optional use external cord to aux plug battery pack. with improvement this will be a supper bino , like I said the digital stabilizer is good but can not beat Fuji 6 degree, not even my manual Fuji gyro 5* can not beat Fuji 6 degree digital but this Kite bino much better than Canon .

    Sig Sauer also has image stabilizing binoculars you might take a look at. I’ve been thinking about a pair especially on windy days when I’m trying to glass and things start shaking.

      Absolutely! I definitely want to put those Sig Zulu 6. It would be interesting to see how they compare. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks John! Really appreciate that. That's a great idea, but I believe I'd have to be a banner sponsor to share my videos over on AT. Doesn't mean other people can't though. Thanks for watching!

      We are still testing, and plan on using them through the fall hunting seasons, so it'll still be a little bit before the review drops. Thanks for your patience!

    • @BackwoodsPursuit
      @BackwoodsPursuit  Рік тому

      @dustinwallen2118 yeah, the image stabilization makes a massive difference and eliminates the need to bring a tripod. However, there are compromises made as always, such as a small field of view.
