The SOFTEST metal band

- According to Lars Ulrich, Metallica wanted to try something new with THE UNFORGIVEN. Instead of a heavy chorus and low key verse, they flipped the script and kept the chorus soft. Judging from the song's popularity and their track Nothing Else Matters, maybe Metallica should have been a soft rock band? Today we'll be studying a live performance of THE UNFORGIVEN recorded in Saudi Arabia of all places, to see what makes it great muhahaha

Lars' recipe for wap juice sure does hit the sweet 69 dopamine centers in the brain. Even though its soft like 420 wah pedals against 0,1 Marty Friedmann
this is metal brain rot
Metallica is so brilliant, Fade To Black doesn't even need a chorus!
Love these videos! Can you please do them with other bands too, like a7x for example?
Just watched the 30min music theory guide. Me likey!
Thats a banger for sure.
Dont forget the most important detail the WAP juice.
That’s great news muhahah!
I was there! Show was amazing
this was a good one thanks shred
I looked forward to that video coming on Mtv when I got home from school when it came out.
Gezzz, after 89 I had thought they were soft rock.
Yeah that was the end of their "thrash" phase. James should never have started taking voice lessons. Thats when they went soft.
Scott says something like that: "Kirk doesn't seem to have wah pedal" and my day has already brightened 😂
Metallica is Bach, Megadeth is Telemann or maybe Vivaldi. Sure, they are all great but ONE is remembered far and above the rest as time moves on.
Had a dream about being in metallica the other night, got kicked out
Watching you from Saudi Arabia🇸🇦
that's awesome!
Thank you
should've called yourself the phantom lord in this one shred
next time
Hello Shred! Id like to hear what do you think about my songs!!!
- Nokkis
Sounds better in A 440! Metallica should just have stayed in 440, would have stood out from everyone else live.. IMO! Not like James sings giant high parts all the time, he can surely sing in E standard! But we love you Shred!! Happy New Year Two Thousand 666

Metallica? SCORPIONS RULE!! Lmfao
HA HA HA HA
First❤❤❤
The clickbait is strong with this one.
IMO Metallica's 90s rock stuff was always better than their 80s thrash stuff. I always thought they were the weakest of the Bay Area bands of the 80s.
Having said that, I DID own their CDs in highschool (ahem Lars).
Anyway, Softrocktalica FTW!
When trying out as guitarist for a couple bands in 200X, I said "I play metal but not really the heavy stuff". Both groups said the same thing, "like Fallout Boy?" which I had never heard of. I said, "No, like Metallica".
But they have played on every continent, played in front of probably close to a billion people collectively over 40 years on the biggest stages and unfortunately you always bash on them in a little desolate room...grated you know your stuff with theory and can play but I haven't seen your mark on the world outside of the square box monitor...to bad bro you can play but the way out of date satanic innuendo and badgering the biggest metal band in history just doesn't make sense. I'll still watch you for some riff ideas though.
Uh wasn’t he complimenting them like the whole way through tho?
So out of tune
Unsubbed
Metallica sucks.
