Glad to see you out in the woodlot. My favorite author John Burroughs said, "I go to the woods to be soothed and healed, and put my senses in order". These are difficult and uncertain times. If it were not for me venturing into the woods several days a week life would be very difficult. Thanks for sharing and reminding all of us to be kind to others, our environment, and ourselves.

Tedd, It's good to see you out and about. I'm glad you have a neighbor that will keep you company and I'm glad you are going to church. The church is not the building, but it's the people. Take care and God bless, Ken

Glad to see ya get out. I count myself blessed, we have a 100 acre farm with 80 acres of it being woodlands. Our property borders thousands of acres of public woodlands that surrounds one of the main rivers in middle Tennessee. It is a sportsman's paradise really. I can walk out the door out behind the barn and be hunting or foraging in the woods within 5 minutes. I can also hop on the ATV and shoot down the driveway through a bit of woods and be fishing the Cumberland river in 5 minutes. It's great pull the ATV right to the edge of the water, I sit on the front rack and lean back on the handlebars. If I want to put the boat in that takes a bit longer but still a 5 minute drive and I'm at a ramp. We also have 2 large feedlot pastures up on ridges that are great for setting up the kodiak canvas tent. That getting out in the woods does keep us grounded and mentally stable. I know personally it is what brings me back to center. Just sitting quietly and letting the earth speak. Keep safe up there. TC and ATB, Cris.

It sounds like a dream location and I could be jealous but I am reminded not to covet what another has. Many thanks for sharing a glimpse of your life with us. God bless.

Glad to see you had a pad to sit on. Better then on your deck. If I think of it next time I empty my eye drops I'll save you the bottle.
