Exploring outdoor activities the old ways and learning as we go along. I enjoy camping and using small and unique tools including stoves and to prepare simple meals over them.

The time for sandwich's etc. for lunch while fishing, hunting and exploring is just about past. Now is the time to consider hot meals to provide nourishment while afield.

That's right my friends, in fact time could be short for any or many of us as I write this. Pray as never before on behalf of this old world we live in.
Amateur Radio Dead, NEVER

SOMETIMES PEOPLE THINK A HOBBY IS DEAD WHEN THEY DON''T UNDERSTAND THAT HOBBIES EVOLVE. Such is the case with Amateur Radio. It just keeps getting more interesting.
Why Haven't You Seen Much of me Lately?

Have you been as busy as you wished you are or has it been that you need a break? A full life is usually a busy life and I am pleased that we as a family have been successfully getting our "To Do List" whittled down.

Doesn’t that stove have a manual igniter on it?
Ronson is a British company I believe.
Hi Tedd - I realize this is an older video so apologies that I'm late, but I have the same exact skillet. I took a wire wheel to it with my drill and brought it down to a glass finish. I found that "seasoning" wasn't necessary as long as I used a good fat when cooking (beef tallow or butter but tallow is best). Hope this helps and God bless!
I have the vev vianao (sp) espresso and loved seeing you make a cup in yours. I want a Delongi expresomak but hubs says no you have the stainless one. I want creama. And can’t get it with the stainless one. Plus the taste difference I have had expresso from a delongi so much difference. Oh well maybe some day.
You got the pan to 🔥 hot.
Awesome video. Like minded. Man that brass looks good and it’ll only it better with time.
I just bought one! I had one 25 yrs ago, worked great! Been into backpacking since I was 17, now I'm 61yrs. Had a Colman peak one, and a jet boil, both great stoves, but the Svea 123 has been around as long as me! 60 yrs, still going strong! So if it ant, broke don't fix it! Longest running backpacking stove in history! I still got my jet boil! But I'm all in with the 123!
Superb video and advice.....Thank you for your advice ans demonstration....Hope you have a super-fine day too. We also use the Nano with a Trangia burner and find the combination an excellent combination. Stay well, stay safe......Helen with Kate and Terri with Robyn
That's ok! 🤣
You must season stainless steel for every use. Then things will not stick. I have the same pan and use it a lot.
I'll be having a boiled and coffee snack in his honor...
God bless...
Dont eat those instant soops 😮 its full of toxic!!!
Try cooking your eggs in butter, tastes great.
You might try grape seed oil has a higher smoke point and as low of heat as your stove will stay lite with stainless steel skillets
When it comes to frying eggs I just prefer a non stick pan. I'm allergic to coconut, so it's avocado oil for me. I've often wondered if those non stick grill sheets would work in a frying pan. I need to try it; I have that skillet.
Rest in Peace, Tedd. Won't be forgotten.

Black food easyto you😁
I only discovered Tedd's UA-cam channel by doing some research on some camping gear. When I visited his channel, I knew things hadn't been going well. I feared he had passed since this video was 7 months old. Doing a search, I see that he did pass in May of 2022. I'm so sorry for this loss. Tedd seemed like an amazing, kind man who loved life and people and was an inspiration to many. He will live on through his videos and I'm glad to have found him, but sad at the same time to lose such a gem of a person. Rest in Peace and God's hands Tedd, you are surely missed by many. 😢
Excellent video thank you.
Rest in peace sir.
Just subbed. Nice video! I have that pan plus a few other Stanley cook sets. I love them. I did a video on my Stanley adventure cook set that I use for hunting outings. Take care and stay safe. Check out my UA-cam channel called PA Reloader
✌️
Grandpa, I enjoyed watching your cooking and good info. Thanks a lot.
That's kool... or HOT should I say!!! Where did you get the base at,? it may make a nice compact charcoal starter for my rectangle pan hobo grill. I'm using a grate from grillgrate. Get on their mailing list for they have warehouse sales 2-3 times a year. Their grate is made of anodized aluminum utilizing a raised rail system to transfer heat making very nice sear marks and the valleys vaporize drippings for added flavor and moisture. For me using these grates make my meat more flavorful, perhaps its in my head, but I like it.
nice video thanks. you're very entertaining
Great video sir!
Well done lad. What brand is the burner, i like the size ? Cheers from the land down under
Vev Vigano. 18/8 stainless steel. Fill bottom with water up to the exhaust valve. Loosely fill the basket with fresh-ground coffee from 1 teaspoon or up to the top, depending on your taste. Screw the top to the bottom, finger-tight. Heat until you hear it bubbling, then watch it fill the top to just below the stem. Remove immediately from heat so not burned.
I am sorry to hear of your health problems. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We really enjoyed all of your videos which brought us closer to you. Take care and God bless you, Ken.

With all you are going through your dedication as a UA-camr is amazing. Wishing you many many more opportunities to spent time with your family and to enjoy your hobbies. 73 !
Hope you feel better.
That is a roofers hatchet, for doing wooden shingles and siding. That is why it has the nail pulling notch. Still a decent tool for camping.
Yes. Never did roofing but used it a lot. Thanks.
Are you still using this setup?
Clean the pan and fry some spring onions in it to season it.
Nice to see/hear you Tedd. Sorry to hear about Rose's inner ear issues. Hopefully it will get better soon. You are much more tech savvy than I am. I first subscribed to your channel when the pandemic started and our political atmosphere (at least here in the States) became shameful. Your genuine concern for others brings me hope for the human race. I am not sure if you how much your message of faith and kindness is appreciated. God bless you, Rose and your family.
Thanks for your response Bill.
Im just glad you make videos and having your chats with us.👍
Thanks Troy.
