To specify, less frames and a short amount of time between those few frames show that something is faster. It's... probably related to one of the principles of animation.

Uh no, fewer frames ≠ faster animation, infact its the TIME between the frames, they can have a hella small amount of frames sure, but then just make them pass faster, and boom, faster animation
