Technique:
In just three steps you can paint this artwork and enjoy painting it. Because that's what matters to me. Put your perfectionism aside. Because in order to express this Shabby Chic style, the brush strokes are allowed to remain. So don't work so neatly ;) By painting in layers, you cover up the bottom layer. This way you, as a beginner, can apply the first colour in a relaxed way and just have fun. This is also something for all those who are looking for a way from representational painting to abstract painting. The painting technique is simple. First you apply the acrylic colour brown and let the layer dry. You can use a hair dryer for drying. In the drying time you can mix a second colour and look for a tool to scrape it out. This is because you are taking your design out of the wet paint. So when the next colour is still wet, you take the motif out. That's how I work in abstract painting, as well as in representational painting. There are numerous videos on the channel (tips videos below). You can also let the paint dry first and then draw the flowers on it. I have selected a few pens for this purpose. Pay attention to the tip of the pencil. There are also empty pens with colours for refilling. You only need a little colour, that's enough I have tinted the shades slightly. The colours are also in the list: See link below.

You are the magician who pulls a bunny out of the hat. I am, in my old age, (62) only just starting to paint again after bringing my family up. I see people like you, and many others like Rinska Douna, paint magic. I think I might have a chance of painting reasonably well if I live to be a 100. But then again, I doubt it. I have a very bad shake in my hands, which I never had as a young girl, and it’s so difficult to control my shaking. So maybe very abstract painting will be good for me. Many blessings for a long life and love with your paint and canvas.

I really love this piece. I like the way the painting looks unfinished. What I mean by that is, the sketching of flowers that were left unpainted. It's as if you just never got back to finishing the painting but meant to. I really like that a lot. This in a way reminds me of Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. The painting was never finished and many people don't know this. Madame Lisa was supposed to be wearing bright beautiful robes of silk that her husband had brought for the portrait. He was a silk merchant. Da Vinci had other plans and left Madame in what she is wearing in the painting. She doesn't even have eyebrows. I think the unfinished painting has a mystic about it.
Leonardo suffered a fainting spell that left his right hand paralytic and even though he was left handed, he painted with his right hand. This could be why he never finished the Mona Lisa.

The awakening of one's own creativity at the sight of a painting or objects that someone has created or changed. Therefore, I also love traces of use, the not perfect. The unfinished. These take me on a journey to another time. I have a story to tell you. When I once created a wall-sized painting, a tiny copy of Michelangelo, it was as if I were in that exact time, that exact place. I heard the conversations, the tension, the smell, the dust that almost prevented me from breathing. It was a fantastic experience. A real time travel into my imagination. ;) Displace for the moment.

@@Kuenstlerstreich4me Hallo.... liebe Petra, 'schon in Vorfreude auf Sonntag, guck ich in der ein oder anderen malperiode immer wieder auch gern die alte Clips von dir....(weil ja auch Musik und deine Stimme im Hintergrund angenehm klingen). jedenfalls wollt' ich mal ausser der Reihe schreiben und 2 Dinge sagen: also, einige der farbkonsistenzen krieg ich einfach immer noch nicht so hin. Wenn ich sehe, wie du bei dem abstrakt figürlichen Akt damals, den ersten Auftrag wischt und es sieht sofort einfach toll aus......gelingt mir nicht.🙈😁 Entweder zu dünn (Intensität) oder das Gegenteil. Ich bin da aber gar nicht frustriert. Ich hab vieles ausprobiert und meine Vorlieben entdeckt ..und grad letzte Woche ist mir wieder eins gelungen, was mir ja zeigt: whau, tolle Entwicklung in nur einem Jahr.
Dadurch komm ich dann auch auf Punkt 2. Ich glaub' ja, dass in deiner Community viele selbst malen. Deshalb... würde mich das wirklich interessieren...zu sehen, was die anderen so machen.
Ich weiß ja nicht, ob du da Bock drauf hast, oder in welchem setting man das machen kann, aber so ein 3 Minüter Sonntags (oder weniger) wo einfach mal ein paar Bilder aus der Community eingeblendet werden....fänd ich super und wäre auch dabei. Vielleicht zu Weihnachten,oder so. Man liest immer die Namen. Wäre doch toll, im wahrsten Sinne ,mal n Bild von denen zu kriegen. Ausserdem glaub ich, wie bei mir, dass wir alle irgendwie durch dich inspiriert werden. Und es muss ja nicht perfekt sein. Sagst du ja auch immer. Entspannung ist wichtig.Ich jedenfalls habe die Begegnung mit dir im Netz als großes Geschenk erlebt. Als echte Bereicherung.
