If you're interested in feedback from a Swede. 😁 The colors of the camo are spot on, and you put the colors in such an order as they would really be on for example a Viggen. They're a bit sharp, which gives away that you freehanded them, but I wouldn't say that's an issue really, only in you would have been really painting for the Airforce. 😁 I'm impressed, I'd definitely say you did justice to the camouflage, and it's really nice to see you do it on video. I'm always honored when people abroad build Swedish. 🙂
Looks amazing Sully, for sure out of your comfort zone, but you smashed it,better than What I could do,and even though the camo looks difficult you done an amazing job at it!
Really nicely done! I love a TSR-2 what-if. I have 2 Pitt Road 1:144, 3 Airfix 1:72 and 1 Airfix 1:48 TSR-2 kits. I will definately do a Wild Weasel version in RAF 70's wrap around camo and am thinking about a shortened, increased span interceptor with a Phantom nose. The good thing about the 1:144 scale kits is that they let you trial a kit bash for not much money. I have a 1:144 F-4J and a Tornado F.3 to play with for the TSR-2 interceptor.
Hi Sully, that camo scheme was absolutely outstanding, even if it was a 'what if' scheme, congratulations on a job very well done, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
I really liked that; it looks great in that scheme. Judging by the accent you are better placed than most of us to check on details as there is a TSR2 in the RAF museum at Cosford.
I love these what if style builds 👍 I had a look at a real TSR2 at Duxford museum. I reckon at 1:48th scale you could fill most of the panel line in. Such a super clean airframe, all be it rather dull in white. Subscribed
Thanks mate! Ye i looked out ours and its almost barely noticeable i didnt feel like trying to sort it out just a simple build😁 but i think for the age of the kit its not to bad!
@@SullysScaleModels it is lovely!! If you could see the real one from above you would see it lol. I have two kits in the stash with all the resin goodies from Wolfpack.
How could this have come about? 1. The TSR2 wasn't canceled. 2. The Swedish nuclear bomb program wasn't canceled. 3. The SAAB Project 1300 (SAAB 36) nuclear bomber was canceled (as it really was). 4. Sweden bought TSR2 instead of SAAB 36.
@@Akm72 probably but it could of depended if TSR2 delivered on what it was meant tobe really the only thing it proved was it could get of the ground and the Olympus engines were really good!
Cool, during the Cold War, Sweden had its own nuclear b*mb project going on and also had plans for an aircraft to carry the bombs ... so this, could could have been an option to the Swedish aircraft ...
Well i think that is the best what if TSR iv ever seen. Im not a TSR fan either but thats great. I did a 1.72 with a Captain Scarlet theme. Turned out to be ... mmeh...
It should be painted with no signs of use and weathering as this aircraft was never used by the Swedish Air Force...Basically it never got beyond the prototype. Otherwise, it is a very nicely made model.
This is one of those What if's that absolutely falls in to the category of, "Aw man, that really should have been!" 👍😎

Ah thanks dude! Really appreciate that mat! Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely job Sully!
Hello Sully. I live in Denmark. Love the Swedish camo. The attack camo of these planes are astoinding.. Really nice job. Regards from Denmark. Alex
That turned out really nice! Thanks for sharing!

That looks totally amazing
That's stunning Simon. Very well done. 👍
Excellent work
That was a fun build, and the painting looks insane!
A very original approach to this model. Very well executed Swedish TSR variant💥👍💥
You’ve convinced me. I’ll order mine in the same colours. 🤪
Love the camo on it! Might have to copy!
Go for it my friend! I used extra decals it comes with several others but make it easy that doing your own
It was nice meeting you today in Hannants London. I've got a few of your vids to get through, so, I'll shut up and veg. Cheers.
😁 cheers mate was great meeting you guys ! Glad i finally got chance to come round, great shop i struggled to chose lol
Brilliant!! Love that build Sully!! the biggest inaccuracy on that kit is the fat fuselage. Take a look at the real thing and you'll see what I mean.

Nice speculation. Do you think Sweden would still have developed the AJ-37 Viggen if they had ordered TSR2?

@@Akm72 Perhaps Viggen with Olympus engine?
@@bobojoh Not impossible though the design would need to be bigger to carry the extra fuel to keep the same radius of action.
Fantastic result - just imagine seeing that thing on the side of a highway in Sweden!
Outstanding
Thanks James
Hey Sully - what a great effort - love the camo cheers Liam

Nice build Sully, wondering what scheme to do mine in now... ;-)
You will have to find something outrages!
After watching this... I wonder what that cammo would like like on a Skyray......😁
Very cool!😊 I wish Airfix would re-release this kit!
And about it being big, the aircraft was 27 meters (88.6feet) long, so no surprize there! 😎
Yeahi knew it would be but sometimes you cant always be sure how big or small the model will be in the end!😁
If you get the chance, visit it at RAF Duxford. A very impressive machine!
@@AtheistOrphan ye seen Duxfords i got my ref photos form Cosford though much easier for me
It takes a brave man to admit he doesn't like the TSR2 😂. Great work nonetheless.

Thats why its a ‘what if build!’
A Swedish TSR2 would have no tailplanes, a low mounted main wing and canards
Wouldnt be a TSR2 then lol
Viel 😂zu hässlich ist der Aufwand nicht wert 😂
