- All of the newest and greatest hypercars and spercars in the world come together at Quail! From the new releases including the Zenvo Aurora, Ford Mustang GTD, Maserati MCXtrema, to the concept Lamborghini Lanzador, and an extraordinary line-up on display with plenty more.
The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering is one of the flagship events of Monterey Car Week, and always features the most stunning display with plenty of cars being launched for the first time. Every year there's even more than ever to discover, and this year is no exception with a phenomenal line-up across the golf course lawns.
For example, the Rimac Nevera Time Attack Edition, now the production EV record holder at the Nurburgring, the new Gunther Werks Touring Turbo Edition Coupe, The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport Golden Era by Sur Mesure, and so much more it's impossible to list them all out.
Amongst the other hights are the Bugatti W16 Mistral, Koenigsegg Gemera and Jesko, Singer DLS Turbo, Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne, Aston Martin Valour, McLaren Solus GT, Rolls-Royce Spectre, Lotus Evija and Type 66, McLaren P1 GTR-18 and P1 GT by Lanzante, Pininfarina B95, Czinger 21C, GMA T.50S, T.50 and T.33 Spider and more. I read some news that the 2024 refresh of the BAC Mono gets an improved engine that sets an incredible new record for BMEP / torque density (so relative to engine size = torque per 1l displacement) for naturally aspirated engines with conventional cylinders (road car), beating the engines of Valkyrie, T50, former record holder 458 italia, etc. How is that possible with what appears to be based on a Ford engine? If you can get your hands on the new 2024 version next year maybe you can put it on a dyno.

My yellow 458 made an appearance in Shmee's video! The cars at Quail this year were definitely top notch! This was probably the first time I have seen a yellow F50 in person, and the only other time I have seen this many 959s in one place was at Canepa's in Scott's Valley. And then to have 5 of the Aston Martin 1-77s was mind blowing. Quail is arguably my favorite event of the year and is the pinnacle of my car week every year.

My favourite is Gordon Murray, by far. Not about numbers, but about real world enjoyment, a car you can drive and enjoy everyday, on every road. Also naturally aspirated and that sound!

Truth be told, and I may be in a somewhat minority with this opinion. But I still feel that Pagani makes some of the most breathtaking cars there are. Personally I don't see a single car more beautiful or more perfect than the Huayra R, which is why I collect rhe 1/18th scales of them. 😂
