Since I wanted to leave sanity on a bit of a higher note, here's a retrospective on some of my favorite Machinima skits I've made as a sendoff to the series.

One of my few High school memories I'm super proud of Basically the project was that one of us had to write and direct a scene and two others had to be the actor. Naturally I was Like "I'm gonna rock this", so I sat down at my crappy laptop with a word document and... got nothing. So, since I was on an old SNI kick, I decided to use the waiter bit as an opener. One of the two people who was acting for me was a girl, don't remember her name, the other was this guy of Indian descent. That guy I remember particularly because I told him he could do a silly voice and the guy went straight for the Indian call center voice without hesitation. The script was short and stupid so I remember it pretty well, it went something like "OH MY GOD MIKE, YOU SHOT OUR WAITER!" "What was I supposed to do, he came at me with a knife?" "Because you ordered the steak!" "That is... not an excuse" "Now what are we supposed to do? Aw, the cops are gonna be here..." "... That's... We can... We can..." "Great. Great, Mike! First you kill our waiter and now you're forgetting your lines! Come on, man!" "Oh! Oh! I know what it is! Did I fire six shots or only five?" "You know what? You're on your own." Yeah, not the most transformative work, but I was in maybe sophomore year of high school and frankly, I'm just surprised how well the two I got to direct did with it. One guy who gave feedback afterwards mentioned he wasn't sure the line getting forgotten was intentional or not. I'm pretty sure I got a good grade on it. Either way, that's the best recounting I can give. Gotta say, the VA performance you did for that guy really brought it home in particular because the guy doesn't sound like he's freaking out, he sounds like he's just really sick of Mike's shit, like he does this on a regular basis, and I think that's what made me choose that skit to adapt. So uhhhh fuck, dude, thanks for the classic gigglefest from the golden days of SNI.

And there is still nostalgia for certain skits in my friend group for those who watched it back in the day. So thank you for being a part of making those fun memories :)

It's sad to think that this is all that's left of the original Sanity on UA-cam. Yeah there are channels who have uploaded parts of it back up but it's never going to be the same because of how much UA-cam has changed. Take the skit at 12:30 for example, that could NEVER work with how UA-cam works now

I never fully engaged with Newgrounds stuff as a kid, SNI was the closest I got to it all I was really sad when Lyle left and assumed I'd never see anything of his ever again So imagine my glee when I started watching Oneyplays and found out that Lyle was a friend and regular guest :D Thanks for the years of laughs
Lyle is so hilarious me and all my friends love him and to this day many years after he left SNI my friends and i still make constant references to his skits on a daily basis.
