Thanks for watching! We've only just scratched the surface of vocaloids . Let me know if you have any specific questions about vocaloid music production, Ableton workflow, how to construct a song, etc.
    Happy to chat below!

Appreciate it! Editing/sound design takes time, but it feels quite meditative sometimes

Hi Yuta, please keep up posting these how to videos! Your work in Instagram constantly gives me that WTF feel, and really inspires me not to settle for mediocrity in my sound design. However, sometimes its just pretty difficult to parse out whats happening in your DAW, and most importantly, what was the thought process behind your creative decisions.
I bet you have a pretty tight schedule in Antfood, and my question is, how are you able to consistently deliver work that is both out of the box and emotionally impactful?
In my own work, under tight deadlines I tend to revert to standard solutions, because experimentation is time-consuming and has too much chance for failure, by definition. And with each failed experiment, I tend to get a bit more nervous which doesn't help with creativity. Do you ever face this type of negative feedback loop and what is your way to handle it?

Amazing! This really captures a disturbing tone haha - it's so hard to do intentionally but this sounds great. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for the full song 👀

thank you! Yes, vocaloids are very fun (even if the technology is probably going to feel very dated in a few years)

May I ask if you have a recommendation of a specific vocaloid plugin? I’m on Ableton as well.

Thanks! I used Vocaloid5, but seems like 6 is out now. The program should come with voicebanks, but you can also get add-ons.
