First of that's not Paper Mario, that's Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. Secondly it's not calling back to the original theme, it's calling back the original game over theme.
@@thebutterflowers I learned "on the job", so it's tough for me to point to specific resources. For most disciplines, I think the best way to learn is by doing. There's so much visual content out there that can be used to practice with :)
