  • If you're wondering how to polish car paint and get the best results with Meguiar's M200 Pro speed Polish and Meguiar's M300 So1o All-In-One, you're in the right place. Both professional formulas excel as car scratch removal products and are great options for professional or DIY car detailing.
    M200 Pro Speed Polish is a new finishing polish with the latest SMAT abrasive technology. It's a little more versatile and can be used with a tall or short-stroke DA Polisher or a rotary. It's got excellent cutting ability without filling, has a long buffing cycle, and an easy wipe-off. This professional polishing compound can be used with a variety of discs and pads and is a great choice as a finishing polish following another compound or as a standalone cleaner polish before applying protection.
    M300 So1o All in One uses the newest generation of SMAT technology that cleans and leaves behind ceramic protection. It's like a cleaner wax that delivers more cuts and an elevated user experience. It can also be used with a tall or short stroke or rotary. It also has a long buffing cycle with virtually no dusting and has extremely easy wipe-off, whether working in sections or going over the entire vehicle.
    With either product, you always want to do a test spot to help determine what type of pad to use, tool speed, arm speed, pad angle, and pressure to ensure the optimum results.

    Nice and clear video! What is the difference between Meguiar’s 3 in 1 Wax and M300.?

    • @meguiars
      @meguiars  4 місяці тому +3

      The new M300 So1o will offer better cutting and can be used by hand, orbital, DA, or Rotary. It will also provide super protection with an SiO2 "ceramic" formulation.

      Ok! Thanks for your answer! Is it on the market yet? In Europe?

      It is not. Typically you would need to reach out directly to a Meguiar's distributor in your country for all questions about availability and pricing there.

    I have both, and quite frankly they are the easiest polishes and AIO I've ever used. The big problem with M200, it has now made my other Meg's polishes a bit obsolete. The long working time, no dust, and super easy removal makes me not want to go back to M205, M210 or ultimate polish. lol, time to sell them off.

      Try the new Ultimate Polish yet?
      You can send me your remaining stash, but the new version is worth checking out.

    What would you recommend as a maintenance product for the SOLO? Meguiars Ceramic Detailer, Ceramic Spray Wax or Bead Booster? Thanks for the help!

    • @meguiars
      @meguiars  12 днів тому

      Our Hybrid Ceramic Detailer or M799 Bead Booster would be a great way to maintain protection and water beading after applying the M300.

    Once applied, how long does M300 last protecting the paint?

    • @meguiars
      @meguiars  2 місяці тому

      As with any protection longevity can vary depending on a number of factors including the environment your vehicle is exposed to. That being said on a well maintained vehicle it could last up to several months.

    Meguiar's is hitting it out of the park for 2024 with the new AIO and M888 ceramic coating 👍👍. Keep it up 👍 I've been using McGuire's products for 40 years. It is awesome to see you keeping up or surpassing the competition !!

    It would seem in today’s industry climate, that a standalone medium cut -one step polish (not an AIO), would be something that should be developed for the market?
    What would you consider in the Meguiars line up to fulfill that task? Many of us in the industry have gone to 1-step corrections, and finding that medium cut polish is the game.

    • @meguiars
      @meguiars  4 місяці тому

      First, the term "medium cut" could mean different things to different people. Secondly, as you know, there are many factors that contribute to level of aggressiveness including machine type, speed, pressure, pad, etc. Just changing those variables can alter the cut regardless of product choice.
      That being said you would likely find this new M200 could work well for that purpose. If you needed something more aggressive while leaving a nice finish our M110 Ultra Pro Speed Compound might make sense.

    Hi Michael.. will heat and humidity affect the buffing cycle time? If yes.. how so? Thanks

    • @meguiars
      @meguiars  4 місяці тому

      Heat can always play a factor to some extent and buffing in direct sunlight is never ideal. That being said you should be fine as long as the surface itself is not hot to the touch. Again, these products have very long buffing cycles.

    Similar to the soda industry, automotive wax market has wayyyyy to many products. Keep it simple to 4 to 6 products. Example: got barraged 5 years ago when buzz word was ceramic this and that & a year later - everything was graphine this & that. Turtle wax the same which dummies down to retail mindset of : yea, it's all the same stuff with different price tags...
