Bf1 is literally one of the most cinematic and entertaining shooters i've played, the level of detail and the atmosphere is unmatched, forever memorable
BF1 just looks so much more detailed and feels fresh. The stone textures on the chateau. The wool on your uniform. The photogammetry work. Everything is so crisp. And w/ a balanced color template! BF2042 annoys my eyes with its over saturation and high contrast. I am really disappointed by DICE's art direction lately.
Bf2042 looks more cartoony. Not dawning and darker and dirtier with details like bf1, sorry but bf2042 just doesnt fit the scenery with the year its supposed to be in. Looks like a star wars game honestly to me 😂😂. My opinion tho. When youve had bf4 and bf1 with such amazing sceneries and great frostbite engine moments. Bf2042 just doesnt do that. Even Bf5 looks good but again for a ww2 it doesnt do as good as bf1 for ww1
I feel what DICE is forgetting is that all these kinds of games from Battlefield to Battlefront to Verdun and Tannenberg, they are all at their peak when you can turn off the hud and feel like you’re in a movie. 2042 feels nothing like that
@@delirious3911 star wars games are not as cartoony looking as 2042. 2042 is on a whole different level. When I look at how things end up being destroyed on a 2042 map (portal excluded) I feel fortnite is being played and not a bf game.

I just hope that some time in the future we get a Battlefield game that plays like Bf3, has the same vehicle and gunplay mechanics as Bf4 and the immersion of Bf1. That would be my all time favourite game I am sure.

Agreed! One of the main things that got me hooked into Jack's vids years ago was that genuinely kind and upbeat vibe he's always had. It's refreshing and also quite infectious, too! Gotta love it 👍🏼👍🏼
Hey Jack! I dont think anything will top the experience of this game. Especially on the smaller maps. Actual Chaos that fits so well with the franchise. Always glad to see Bf1 content!
To me, this game is beautiful and extremely immersive. It's still unmatched in many aspects. So are Jack's comments during gameplay. A BF legend! Thanks for sharing!
The Château de Chantilly is not very far from my home. I go there mainly by motorbike, with friends, to go for a ride. I visited it several times and the game is really very faithful to what you really find in the château. Incredible.

It most definitely is and its my favorite battlefield game hands down nothing beats charging the enemy line blowing your whistle as the air ship comes down in flames
I also saw that Ryan Gosling flick a while ago and instantly recognized that chateau. Sweet to see it used in a movie. And getting blown up there as well.
I really enjoyed this battlefield it was next level. I played this loads. Even though it was ww1 the game play was incredible. Vehicles weren't crazy overpowered and the maps were great. Wish they would go back to this standard. Great memories
What made battlefield great is how you feel like just another pon in the huge amount of people fighting in a map, you never really saw faces, no distinct characteristics to tell people apart, just bodies in some kind of dream all moving together towards a similar goal
My parents watch the same movie and I came up into the room and I’m like oh my goodness that’s the same castle from battlefield one. Thank you so much for making another battlefield one video
Over the years, this had become my favourite bf game. It's doing everything right a bf can do right. Operations also is one of the best modes ever in a battlefield. Never gets tired.
One of my favorite games of all time, mostly thanks to its superb sound effects. Every shot from every weapon sound so substantial. I wish more ppl, especially in NA, can come back and play together.
Imagine this being your first full intro into battlefield with this title and investing over 200 hours over 6 years of play time. That was my first TRUE sweaty game I invested way too much time into, yet will always remain in my heart as one of the best FPS' of our modern generation
BF1 was basically my real very first intro to the BF franchise, I loved it because it the setting plus there was a decent amount of historical accuracy too. I sunk 1200-1300 hours into this game between 2015 (I think that was the year of release) until about 2020/2021. I ended up getting frustrated with it not because of gameplay but because Australian servers (Xbox) are few and far between and what was available was just hardcore which I got good at but it’s just always a slog plus the severs were always the same game type! Second to that is that there was clearly cheating/hacking occurring and it just kills the fun and joy of playing. I’d love to play it again but the thought of it makes me mentally exhausted!
BF1 is my favorite out of the series, been having a great time going back to it with some m8s, even if console barely has any servers ill always look for one if I get the chance. Very much appreciate the bf1 content jack 🙏
It's still holds up today and it's 2 battlefield games ago! It's Insane how great and polished it still looks. I wish they would go back to this and update it and give us more maps/content.
The gritty aesthetic and the audio mix is what makes BF1 so immersive IMO. If you get in a really good operations match you get the feeling of being in a war. This game has some staying power for being unique in that regard
Me and my friends just recently started playing BF1 again, it is so incredibly fun, currently our fav thing to do is hold C on literally any map with just out squad.
BF1 Was the first game in the series to really hype me up, I played a lot back when it came out on Xbox, got good enough to dogfight planes, survive and escape when needed. Best Battlefield for experience and gameplay, hands down.
The music when nearing the end of the round is soo good in BF1. It makes the action more pumping. In comparison, BF2042's end round music just kinda scrapes on the back of my brain in a very subtly annoying way.
