it's something I had in mind for a while and I've been working on it for the past few weeks, it feels so nice to work on a big project like that haha
also this little funky ranboo design was rlly fun to animate !

It's not lore specific (only visually inspired by certain lore aspects), it's VERY RANDOM, just a bunch of stuff I put together because I thought it would look cool !!

The animation program I use is TVpaint 11, and the brushes I used are from this program
The fps is 24, I need it for flexibility, I animate on 3s and 4s

Tbh the spiral part was most likely separate and it was just a clipping mask and ranboo was animated separate but still really cool

Idk why or how to explain it but the “dna is crucial we must understand it” part is. So appealing to me. I’ve watched this whole thing like 20 times now and I’m enraptured by that section every time. The wavy middle. The way his head moves. It’s all so GOOD

i think it’s because of how his head and mouth move, the way it’s so inhuman (since it moves so smoothly!) and the way the little strand of DNA spinning through that gives a hypnotic effect. as an animator i noticed that a lot of other animators avoid making their animations have that type of effect because it looks subtly “unreal” and doesn’t move like how normal objects do in real life or it can be really hard to achieve that look, but in all honesty i think the way they played with the frames there to give that type of motion was actually super impressive on its own and should be used more!!! they have a distinct style of animation that looks like a daydream you’d have while listening to music like this, their whole style is literally amazing

I love this so much! It’s full of perfection, the colours are easy on the eyes, the glasses at the end are cool, and no black outline makes it even cooler to see, making the animation perfect in its own. I love the way he moves around at the “DNA is crucial” part! Thanks for making a wonderful animation! I watch this every now and then, and I smile every time.

this is one of those videos that you can watch over and over and over and it never stops being amazing
So this is lineless, which is enough to make me impressed with how well the shapes are defined, but combining it with silky-smooth fluid animation that utilizes textures really just shot it up to a whole other level of cool. The color choices are brilliant and vibrant, especially with using two different colors for the few defining lines, which must have taken forever. The silhouettes were a great touch as well, with you making them defined enough to recognize who each of them was! This is just all-around cool as hell!

i really like the stylistic and color choise, and oh the effects and textures!!!!! so neat
the animation is amazing, despite low fps (i can even say it ads a charm(?))EVERYTHING is on their plase, i love how you worked with emotions, gestures and poses, how he makes small movement while talking and how his tail is moving, it just feels so in-character omg. especially considering this voice and intonations are kinda close to cc!ranboo's, this works together even better

The dna is crucial part is definitely the best part, it’s so smooth and the way his face is shaped and how he moved his head is perfect.

One of the few animations I genuinely keep watching, the animation is so fluid and satisfying, the designs and art style are incredible, and the song is weirdly soothing in it's six syllables. Plus, i love seeing that voice come out of Ranboo and the whole idea of him being some sort of business consultant is kind of hilarious.
