The liscences yet line is a good bar because there was a test these characters took to be able to use their quirks to save people without permission from a pro, everyone else except Backugo and Todoroki passed

yeah it’s like how sometimes in battle rap you need to know the history of the person in order to get the doubles. if you don’t know the history the bar still hits, but if you do it hits even harder
so if you know the anime then the bars hit harder and you catch the doubles but if you don’t know it then they are more surface level.
but i guess the best battle rappers can make it so the bar hits deep even if you don’t know either person at all
also the “i usually start with a hook” opener from Shwabadi is deep deep, cuz Deku talks about how Bakugo always starts a fight with a hook, but also Shwabadi usually starts his songs with a hook
and the “when it comes to disses i got more than One For All” is at Deku cuz Deku’s quirk is called One For All

I saw comments on the original video saying that each characters verses were constructed based on their personalities. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Deku is the nicest one of the 3, hence the minimal amount of disses he had. He's also considered the most heroic out of the 3 so yeah makes sense.
Bakugo is the angry one, & absolutely despises Deku so that makes sense that most of his disses were aimed towards him. Personality wise, it makes sense his verse is the longest.
Todoroki is a clear mix of both, as demonstrated very clear by his quirk. Ice & Fire get it? Aha.
All Might just being a dad to them all. So yeah self explanatory.

I just realized on the "zuko watered down" line thats kinda a double punch cause hes calling him a worse version of zuko but you could also take it as zuko is all fire but todorokis ice makes him a "watered" down zuko
I think one of Cam’s best rap battles is Phoenix Wright vs Professor Layton (featuring Rustage) it just sounds great and goes pretty heavy.

You're catching context clues but you're still missing some layers. The MHA battles would be so much better for you if you watched the show. "I go more than One For All" is also a reference to Deku's powers that he inherited from All Might, and the powers are called One For All. And in my opinion, Deku sort of holding back at the start fits his character. He's too nice, haha.

anime rap battles are a little different because you have to have the knowledge of the anime to make grasp what they are saying. most of the lines that you say we're not hitting they actually are hitting its just you don't know the context behind it. Any line featuring todoroki and tea is extremely don DeMarco worthy because that is how he got the scar on his face just for an example. Love the reaction tho
