I’m really thankful for the quality and impressive deepness of your content. You are amazing and I need to compliment you beautiful lips. First of all, great swatches, love that you're doing the long perpendicular line for the main shade. Secondly, I still think Carnival looks great on you, I don't care what you believe 😄 I am surprised that Sorcery is so lightly pigmented, I really expected that you have more impact, though I actually like it better this way. It is obviously similar to Muse but I like it better. I still don't think I'll be buying it though. I really hate the components. Once you've used a third of the gloss you can't reach it anymore and you have to pop off the stopper and swipe out around. Then once you use two-thirds of the gloss you have to take off the stopper again and use a lip brush to get at it. Just messy and annoying. I haven't heard that many people complain about it, so I guess it's not such a problem if you own loads of shades as you may never get to that point with any of them, but I've gone through two full glosses and can't be arsed doing that again. It's a nice product, but not worth it for me at this stage.
That’s so good to know because I think so many of us own way too much shit. It’s amazing that you’ve gone through them! Get your money’s worth. I think her products have packing problems in general! The blush packaging is so bad as well, just doesn’t work for the formula. And we all know about the velvets snapping in half. 😮

As someone who loves stickiness in glosses, I love Pat McGrath lipglosses! 😆I agree with you that many colors in the Pat McGrath gloss line are odd, but if selecting only the wearable ones, the colors are very flattering. (Heavy Petal is my life-time favorite and I stick to it.) Lisa Eldridge's glosses on the other hand are so addictive for some reasons. I bought many lipsticks from her and have only tried her gloss in Sorcery, but I just keep reaching for Sorcery.

THANK YOU AIJING FOR DOING THIS!!! yesss was just going to comment and say would love a comparison to lipsticks, especially since sorcery lipstick is out of stock and many of us are probably curious how the gloss / lip liner compares to its lipstick. Would love for you to investigate whether some of the gloss shades are even dupable within Lisa's range so for example when you mentioned Sorcery gloss vs Muse gloss, I was curious whether using Sorcery lip liner and Muse gloss would achieve the look of Sorcery gloss. Some combos are probably more obvious than others but yeah! Sorcery gloss VS meet me in Berlin is a great idea, excited to see Pompadour lipstick VS gloss and just the general lipstick vs gloss video would be hugely appreciated. Sidenote, i think Carnival gloss works on you really well because of your hair. I think if you dyed it lighter, perhaps the 'clash' against your skin tone would be more obvious but because you have dark cool hair, it almost balances out your warmer undertones.
This is totally the best video on LE glosses! I kind of binge watched all your Lisa Eldridge videos and honed my wish list. I'm in the US so I'm going to wait until someone I know goes to London to pick them up there because everything is like 20% more expensive on the US website and I do not make 20% more than British locals LOL.

I bought sourcery and muse a couple of days ago. They are totaly different undertones. On my daughter sorcery is gorgeous. On me, it makes me yellow. I sticked to muse. Gave sorcery to my daughter
Loving your side by side lip swatches! ❤It really helps so much in making a decision on the colours to buy as I will like to purchase more in my next Lisa Eldridge order. I also tried her different lip formulas and her Songbird gloss is my favourite of them all surprisingly. I didn’t enjoy her Lucent as much in comparison.
Getting pompadour for sure, and will wait to hear if the replacement decade is still patchy to decide if it's worth getting - much prefer the look of it as a gloss compared to the lipstick, seems much rosier/almost plummy! When I run out of blush and muse will give blush lightly and sorcery a try 🙂 Thanks for the great video!
Also Bex, I tried on my replacement decade gloss just now, I feel like it applies the same 😂 essentially it has to be one dip lower lip, second dip for upper lip and then that’s it. Too much fussing and too many layers makes it worse.

I love your reviews, the lip swatch comparisons are so helpful. I’ve only tried one Lisa gloss (Muse), because glosses are not my favourite genre of lip colour. I agree that they do feel moisturising/protective. Also agree with you that they’re not “non-sticky” because they are viscous - like all glosses are! But the balm-like feel is nice. However, what’s driving me nuts is the fact that the applicator is too short and stiff to get the last of the product out of the bottle - there’s about 20% left and it’s annoying me!

Lol you’re so right, the PMG glosses were weird tones. I wanted to love them. But they sat on my lips funny and even the non shimmery ones had almost a plastic reflect. The only other glosses I like right now other than the Lisa E are the Victoria Beckham ones - but even though I’m pale I use the darkest shades of Aperitivo, Top Down and Poolside as I find them better undertones for my preferences- and the clear.

The glosses look so pretty on you! I'm still deciding which one should I get, the lip glosses or the lucent formula lipsticks. Which one do you think is the one giving you a higher level of opacity? My lips are so neutral neutral I may really need something more impactful to look alive LOL
The glosses have different level of pigmentation, so it depends which colour you are thinking of? Some of those glosses have more pigment than the lucent lipsticks. Were there any you were thinking of in particular? ☺️

This is a fantastic video! However I got around 5 shades and I’m not as impressed with the formula and how it holds the colour within the day …. Also I have your colours of contacts with a bit paler skin .. and carnival is not as impactful on me.. Perhaps because my lip colour is quite deep cherry …!?? Who knows … On you though are smashing ❤

I’m an absolute fan of Lisa’s products, but the lipglosses are kind of a disappointment tbh. Affair on me is a see through gloss basically I put it on as a balm to prep my lips for lipstick, and I have extremely pale skin with pink lips. I haven’t opened Sorcery, but got it and now I’m a little sad to see that it’s really not pigmented unlike the product photos on her website. 🤔 thank you so much for doing these comparisons!! :)
Ohhhh hmmm yes sorcery is quite a transparent shade! Surprising that affair doesn’t work on you 😱 but reading all of your comments and hearing your feedback just opens my eyes on how one single product works so differently for different people

Lisa's glosses repair my lips and her new pink shades definitely show up on my lips. I guess it was just Affair when applied only in one thin layer was not visible on me. But yeah I've found that even the lipsticks can show up so differently depending not only on skin tone, but also on one's lip colour. Regardless, I could never dedicate myself to lipsticks before finding her brand, and now I am a total lipstick person, so that says something :) and again I always come back to your comparison videos, when I need help, they are so helpful, so thank you again!
@@yunsuuu yes! The pigment level is super even and heavy on carnival, so one layer really packs a punch, so it’s difficult to sheer out. If you wear this on top of a red lipstick, the red lipstick won’t show through very much! :)
I mean come on, Decade looks like a matte liquid lipstick with some gloss on the model on lisa's website.. at this rate i don't think there's even a point in showing a side to side comparison with the swatches taken from her website..😮💨 nonetheless another great review!😘

No! It was still a little patchy for me, but I saw another UA-camr with darker skin tones who didn’t have a problem with it :)

Can you ever sheer out carnival to give a pink punch to lipstick?
It’s difficult to sheer out that one as there is so much pigment!
