I did this on PS4 and amassed a wealth of materials, I quit to the title screen and back in, and the pieces were all divine again. My only concern was that if Ubisoft catch on they might strip all those materials that were acquired in this way. 😁
Please let me know how you did that. I tried to do it and I think I did it wrong. I have a PS4 and have divine armors that I downgraded for resources. I leveled up others with the resources, went to title screen. When I came back, all the stuff I had upgraded was back to where it originally was, before all the work I did...🤬
@@ronaldconti9947 If it still works, enter game, downgrade all divine armour/weapons at Gunnar's shop, save game and exit to title screen, re enter game, (all pieces *should be divine again) and repeat the process. I think however Ubisoft might have nerved this now, and you can downgrade the divine armour once only.

I don't have a single piece of divine weapons or gear on my game. And yeah know I can live with that as long as I don't lose the runes I inserted into my weapons too.

the same method that works on xbox also works on ps4...however after the method you have to load an automatic savegame NOT a manual savegame...thx darkstrider ur awesome 💪 btw: Unfortunately, you cannot keep the platinum bars

can you manually upgrade the store item to maximum and do the glitch to get more materials back? edit : apparently you can not, but still, i assume it will take ages for ubisoft to fix this one since it’s not direct store related glitch.

It works still for xbox1. However I have not gone to svartelhiem yet so not sure if I'll see platinum ingots in the inventory then. Currently I can upgrade a item I've downgraded so seems to store platinum ingots some place.
There are no dumb questions! The way I do it, I w it the game, then hit continue at the main screen. I downgraded all my helix store gear, and I didn’t have to exit. As soon as the game autosaved, I was stuck for like 30 seconds and all the gear was back.

@@DarkStrider, just bought the expansion pack: Dawn of Ragnarok, which I now I see the Devine “blue” weapons in game for my Xbox One. As you’ve previously mentioned it’s only weapons/amour that people have bought from Ubisoft store or gained from REDA. Hope that helps you and the viewers! 👍

This makes the game so unfair against those who don't have the divine stuff. It's more than broken. I hope for you guys they don't do a rollback to previous 1.5.0 situation and takes all your goodies away.
Since Friday, UbiSoft accidentally, or purposely (I don’t even think they know), dropped the “Divine” level of gear. You need the not yet released “platinum” ingots in order to upgrade your gear.
Thanks to community feedback, it’s only last Gen consoles (Xbox one, PS4) that are getting this, so long as they have the expansion pack preordered. It doesn’t seem to be working on PS5 or the Series X/S, or even on PC.

They don't. I am on Ragnarok now and boom have over 200 Platinum Ingots now :)

I am pretty sure you keep the ingots. They are not being shown, but you can use them to upgrade the Twilight Armor for example
Load the latest auto save or? Cause when I quit to title screen a re load back up my materials are "back to normal"

It’s only changing store items to Devine gear. Also I think it’s only on Microsoft devices so not PS4 if that’s what u play on

It will only work with Divine Armor. I’ve tried with the rest, trust me.
