My parent owns a food service restaurant. Their business is suffering ! I want to build a reselling business and employ them. After I saw your video i am so pumped right now. Reselling starts today !!
Top 7 myths 1. You don't have enough time to resell 2. You don't have enough money to resell 3. You have to focus on high profit items in order to succeed 4. You have to be a niche seller 5. eBay is passive income 6. You have to have a high average sale price 7. You don't have to list every day Made this list for myself but WOW this is a massively informative video. The notes in the video added after each myth are so so helpful.
I really appreciate your straightforward, no nonsense explanations. You offer a tremendous amount of value. Even subjects that may not be of interest I find myself watching/listening to the end. Never once have I felt it's been a waste of time with unnecessary filler and information. Direct and to the point.
Thanks so much for your advice. Started following a ten a day listing plan, broke my foot and had to take a break. Been feeling better and got ten up yesterday. Three sales on items that hadn't gotten views since I first listed them. I popped back into the algorithm just like you said. You're the best!
It's SO true! In 2018 I was a young mom who unfortunately became very overwhelmed with sourcing, doing the photography, listings etc myself...I gave up sadly but I'm more motivated now to start my store again..I was selling all kinds of clothing and now I know exactly what is available around me abundantly and there's so much of it there is no way I cannot get 10 or more listings a day...everything he says is true! I was a great ebay seller back then thanks to this guys free info now I have a nice little cushion of great reviews and solid knowledge to go back and kill it ✨️
Chris this info just keeps us so energized! Been watching you since my start and now at one year reselling! I’m hitting all my goals on schedule largely due to your consistent mentoring! Keep it up ur saving lives out here in these crazy times! 💰
Another amazingly helpful video - thank you! eBay is certainly not passive income - it is hard work, and not for everyone, but if you enjoy it it is so rewarding. Plus we are recycling and not adding to landfill and, if we source from charity shops, we are helping the charities.
YUP! Woke my store up from inconsistant listing. For the past week and a half Ive listed 10 items a day amd fixing 3 old listings per day. Im now, after 1.5 weeks making 6 sales a a day with average of $180 profit per day. I have a mix between 10 profit and 50 profit items and its all selling consistantly now.
So true, my biggest mistake is don't try reinvent the wheel. If the wheel sells sell more of the same wheel! You can still dabble in other categories just not focus too much on them.
All myth are beyond a Grey area ... Mainly #3 The work load of 1 item compared to 100 is night and day ... I can pack a item in 5 min and on with the day while doing a 100 might take 2-3 hours in a real world I’m only 3:49 into the video ... All these problems are different store to store .. It’s good food for thought
Great advice as per usual friend. Question if I could. When you were selling on eBay what was your 2 or 3 fastest moving items. I know you mostly sold woman’s clothes but was it say Levi jeans, Gloria Vanderbilt? Because I find 100s of Gloria type stuff weekly for a buck
So you seem to really like that T-shirt a lot Chris. Did you film all these UA-cam episodes on the same day? Or is this your favorite T-shirt now. Lol I like it too. You have good taste. Thanks for all the helpful information
How do you put on more than five items an hour you have to look them up you have to make sure it’s the correct thing are you going to get a negative feedback it has to be perfect our people are unforgiving if you make a mistake
How do you find someone to help you list your items on eBay? I love finding things to sell but have a hard time creating listings, especially when it comes to shipping charges. Are there people out there who will do that for a fee?
Doing free shipping helped me get a lot more sales. Anything up to 1 lb can go first class mail just charge $5. Order some USPS priority mail A and B boxes, those are great and cheap to ship to nearby states plus get free boxes. Same with USPS padded envelopes. Other USPS priority mail boxes are good too. If ship bigger bulky items run a shipping calculator and compare prices between Fedex and UPS to a nearby state and farthest state. Just charge in the middle between two numbers. Make sure to exclude shipping to Puerto Rico and other US territories if your item can't be shipped in USPS flat rate priority boxes. Obviously got to check other listings to see what prices other sellers are selling same items and sale history. For most part I just sell near low end of other sellers and offer free shipping. Only check shipping costs on big, heavy and bulky items.
Took 3 years into reselling to learn most of these mistakes. If you’re new to eBay and flipping, pay attention to all of these details.
Thank You!

Good thoughts. I particularly like "don't think of it as passive income." Also the point about how good the ROI is in eBay.

GREAT CONTENT! Very helpful content that can help a Beginner Reseller, or an Veteran in the game.
I love how even though eBay kicked you to the curb, you still speak very highly of them. I hope one day they let you back on their platform.

Does eBay promoted listings that have a good selling history with thousand unit sold, or should I end the listing and relist it to get more traffic?
🕶🙌

Is scheduled listing free or is there a fee involved?
