On every project I try to focus on different aspects of stop motions so I can gradually improve over time, and the scout troopers’ fluid animation was definitely the part I tried to hone in on the most. Thanks for noticing
@@jdiddy_productions hey not trying to push anything but for a suggestion. Could you maybe redo this with the newer Lego scout trooper minifigures? That'd look dope. Although this is already perfect cause the animation is flawless. Good work!
Well thanks for saying that, but honestly yours is undoubtedly up there in my opinion. The scope of the video is just amazing, and I really wouldn’t bet against it!
You do not know how long I’ve been waiting for someone to make this scene in LEGO because it’s so FUNNY! And I’m so glad it’s you that made it because you have an awesome animation style! Great job!
That’s awesome! I’m happy I could make it. Too bad it was a few months late, but better late than never. Also I think there may be another recreation of this scene from a few months ago if I’m not mistaken.
Thank you for saying that! Doing recreation videos takes awhile because of having to sync every minute movement, so it’s nice to see when other people notice. 👍
Thank you so so much for subscribing! I’m really shocked to see that number, and I’m happy you were able to complete the long journey towards that goal. I hope to keep making videos that only improve as time goes on.
This is funny, I just thought there was greatness in this scene between the acting and writing. The LEGO is fun to watch but the actual scene itself is genius. The LEGO Yoda head is great though.
Thanks man! During this whole video I really focused on giving their arms a lot of out of socket movements to give it a really fluid feel to the characters’ animations.
I love this!!! Nice recreation!!! You hit it pretty hard. LOL!!! Have you seen the report of Jon Favreau's friends playing the scout troopers and how hard they could hit the expensive puppet so they wouldn't break it? The friends are Adam Pally and Jason Sudeikis.
Thanks, that means a lot! I did see the report about that. I was shocked to know that one of the scout troopers was Jason Sudeikis because he stars in one of my favorite parody skits involving soccer haha
Let’s just say now you don’t have to haha No, it’s a really great show, but now I’m happy that there are no spoilers in this scene for your own benefit.
Thanks, mate and I agree that this scene is really hilarious. However, I’ve seen it so many times now because of doing this video that I basically quote it by memory haha.
Hate to break it to you but not even the Jedi knew what species Yoda was nor where he came from. That fact, coupled with the efforts of the Empire to wipe all traces of the Jedi (and by extension Yoda) from the galaxy means that practically no one in the Star Wars universe would recognizes the baby.
One thing I’ve always had trouble with when animating, is character movements in dialogue. And you nailed it. By the way If you have the characters, you should finish the scene to where IG-11 beats them up. I think that would be a really good scene to see from you.
Thank you so much! I definitely think I'm better at the subtle animations as of right now rather than fast-paced action. I don't think I'll go back and animate the part where IG-11 attacks the troopers; however, I'll keep the idea in mind.
@@jdiddy_productions that’s understandable, because I actually prefer to do that as well given that I haven’t mastered any type of fighting in stop motion at all. But I think you did a really great job on the pacing for the killmonger v black panther one.
