I personally like moss poles just because I like seeing the leaves get bigger, but also a circle trellis would be interesting to see 🤔 so maybe I’m not that much help on that😂😂and yess!! The bby gloriosum is thriving! Yayyy!!🎉🎉
My prostrata was under a grow light on my plant shelf. Bloomed like crazy and grew a ton of growth, but all the leaves were tiny. I figured out too much light was the problem and have moved it. I think the leaves are starting to grow a bit larger now!
All those plants look WONDERFUL Becca! I’ve watched so many plant tours this spring and as you know you get the good and the bad in those. Nothing wrong with that but it was just relaxing to watch some thriving plants! Good job!🥰
Hi Becca! Wanted to come on here and say that I’m very new to your channel but I love your energy and personality, you are a joy to watch! Keep doing you and being wonderful and BEAUTIFUL!! :)
Squeee.... Monstera Siltepecana is one of my favorites in my collection. I got one from Steve's Leaves a couple months ago and it's growing like crazy! Pictures don't do them justice. Mine gets a LOT of light, kinda more than I thought it would want, but it loves it.
My pepperomia prostrate started to suffer when I hing it in a window. Small leaves, dull color, thinning... when I pulled it back a few feet it thrived! The leaves are huge and super plump with vibrant color
I had the same problem with mine and less light was also the answer. Most of my peperomias, especially those with patterns like the argyreia and the prostrata, prefer medium, diffused light.
@@itsluci8016 interesting how experiences can differ! Of course lighting is subjective to a degree. What I consider medium may be other people's bright, etc. I think the substrate also has an influence on the whole demeanour of the plant. One has to experiment a little to find the sweet spot 👍
Hi Becca! Interesting video! I live in dry climate too, so may have to try the inside greenhouse. I thought the little plant in the centre of another plant I bought was a weed. Fast forward a few months and realised that it was a peperomia prostrata, YAY!! Left it for a while and when other plant (aphelandra squarossa) started dropping leaves, etc. Decided to move little pep out. Put in 2” pot and now it is doing well in a glass cloche. Please keep us updated on your peperomia prostrata and any more care tips. 😊 Thanks!
My string of pearls I only had a few cuttings more lite , they love sun , I can water mine more because it’s in terra cotta tfs ✌️🌱I have 2 separate little containers if your worried try 2 places with new cuttings
I'm in AZ and I bought some prostrata cuttings in March. I haven't been able to get them to root even though I left them in a zip locks for a while to improve humidity. It's frustrating because I love the string of turtles look!
I love that you pet your plants because I do too and my boyfriend always tells me it’s bad for them (except he knows literally nothing about plants lol.) I always say, “well Becca on UA-cam pets hers so I can too!” 😂😂
Omg! Your Silte has over taken mine! Hahaha! I'm so amazed what the greenhouse has done for your plants! So cool! I think a hoop trellis would look cool for now! Also, I am so with you on the special pottery!
Hiya Becca! 😍 Have you checked the Ace Of Spades for spider mites? The damage they leave on the leaves looks somewhat like those spots. It was good to see you 🤗
I much prefer Monstera Siltepecana leaves in the juvenile form, so it'd go with the go trellis and avoid the moss pole. Every other Monstera I have I'm always trying to get mature leaves but on Siltepecana I try to prevent them lol...
In terms of the monstera siltepecana ... I'm debating between letting it climb up a pole or just letting it hang. I feel like it has such a lovely, elegant drape. One concern I would have about one of those hoops is what to do with it once it outgrows it. Although, I've never used one... does it just keep going in circles? If so, does it impact the foliage below if it can't get adequate light?
Heyy, can somebody explain to me how you can propagate a Philodendron Gloriousum? 😅 I thought it doesn't produce any nodes or am I wrong? 🙈 Do you have to propagate it like a Calathea?
My peperomia prostrata has smaller growth too. I’m trying to figure out why. If you find out please let me know! Edit: I think because they are crawlers they need to be laying on top of the surface of the soil so they can put off more roots and keep the leaves bigger and plump.
Hannah S thanks for the tip! Mine is directly under a very bright grow light that keeps all my my succulents compact, so I’m not sure if that the issue.
The peperomia Turtles like high humid and bright conditions, i had tiny little string left, i put in a sandwich Ziplock w/ a 2" pot under my growlight and it started to come back. 💕 Love your videos!
Moss pole for the Monstera. The hoop would be pretty, but the leaves may get progressively smaller. Love the update 💚🌿🧚🏼♀️🌱
Agreed.
Great turn around for your plants in the greenhouse. Yay
☺️🙌🏼

I think the hoop trellis for the monstera s. would look AMAZING!! 💚💚🌿🌱☘️🍀
☺️😍😍
I agree!!

Thanks for sharing your greenhouse plants!! I'm glad your stump plant is growing!!!
Ahh me too!! 😂❤️

Your monstera made such a great come-back!

Aww!!! I’m so glad you’re here! Thank you for leaving this sweet comment ❤️❤️
That new regale leaf is so cute!
I agreee!! :)
Thank you for the update Becca. It is always satisfying to see one's plants thrive.
It is!! ☺️☺️
@@BeccaDeLaPlants 🥰
I love it that you have a label maker for your plants!! ☺️
Oh I wish I did! I just wrote on washi tape and hoped it stuck 😂😂
So cool that the greenhouse helped so much! 👍🌿💚
It really is! :)
Such awesome results!! Brb buying a greenhouse 🤣
White looks good on you!
Thank you! ☺️☺️
Loving your plants Becca!

Mine is the complete different, the leafs were so tiny when it didn’t get enough light 😳

Ooooh that’s good to know!
Your plants know it's summer soon. Let's look at these plants in 6 weeks. 😘
sooo true! :)

I definitely suggest it for dry climates!! That’s so awesome you got a little hitchhiker 😁
Super good review on the greenhouse! :). Have an awesome day!
Thank you Aimee! ☺️

A greenhouse does wonders😊your plants all look great. Same here I struggle with the prostrata ugh
Will need to get a greenhouse.
It's much happier in there now!
Becca 🤗
Spring is really such a nice time for plants! 😄 A lot of mine have been doing way better now too.
I agree!! Love that new growth ☺️
I'm in AZ and I bought some prostrata cuttings in March. I haven't been able to get them to root even though I left them in a zip locks for a while to improve humidity. It's frustrating because I love the string of turtles look!
I had trouble rooting them too!! I just gave up and bought a rooted plant 😅
I'm giving them one last try in some sphagnum moss and then giving up. I might just order a rooted plant as well! Haha
Maybe for the turtles, feed it or give it fresh soil/a new pot?
Just found you on Bloom and Grow! How did I not know about you before? Can't wait to jump in and check out all your videos!!
Oh my gosh! Hey, welcome over! ☺️
Wow all of those plants are pretty. I only have the siltepecana, I hope it grows like yours
It totally should!!
I love that you pet your plants because I do too and my boyfriend always tells me it’s bad for them (except he knows literally nothing about plants lol.) I always say, “well Becca on UA-cam pets hers so I can too!” 😂😂
Hahhahaha that's so funny 😂 most don't mind!!
Hooped trellis!!
It would be so beautiful!!
Their all looking great!😍
Thank you!! :)
Loved this! I think a hoop trellis on the siltepecana would be gorgeous.
I think so too!! :))

It's totally got a new life now!! Love it so much :))
The peperomia would probably grow bigger with less light! It's the same with the pilea peperomioides 💚💚💚
Love your videos!
Thank you!’
Hiya Becca! 😍 Have you checked the Ace Of Spades for spider mites? The damage they leave on the leaves looks somewhat like those spots. It was good to see you 🤗
Agh, I'll have to check it for SM. Honestly wouldn't be surprised at this point hahaha
I agree with this!
Becca - those lil devils crawl eeeeeverywhere 😩 Fingers crossed! 🤗

Really! I need to see the mature form, I never thought about that 😜
Happy plants! So cute. I like Bruning Pottery, but they don't ship. I have to check the wholesalers.

Ooh that’s so true. Hmm I think it keeps circling! And no I don’t think it would negatively impact the foliage personally :)
Love your earrings!
Thank you!
I have the same problem with my SOT D:< the babies are super little
Moss pole for sure on the monstera, otherwise it’s going to have such tiny leaves
True!!
Love your earrings! - I know you mention sometimes, but can you please do I video on all your plant jewelry and where you got them?
Becca did a whole video on her plant accessories. It’s pretty cool. I was thinking about watching it again cause the jewelry is amazing.
Yes this is true!! Here’s that video ☺️ ua-cam.com/video/47-DxYnNhMY/v-deo.html
I bet you would love Tonga pottery. I've bought some pieces on eBay.
I'll check that out!! :)
Great video! I love your earrings! Where are they from, if you don’t mind?
Thank you so much! :) www.etsy.com/shop/ReclaymCreations there's the etsy shop!

Gloriosum sure has nodes but they’re on the rhizome not the stems ☺️ Gloriosum propagation happens by cutting the rhizome 🙏🏻
