It's weird how reassured and happy being someone who doesn't drink being represented in this audio made me feel. Even though I don't have a problem with being the only sober one most of the time, this made me weirdly emotional ?

Mate, I literally hid in me bedroom, in me bed, pretty much all day today because social anxiety was kicking me arse something fierce. So I've been listening to asmr all day, trying to find some sorta comfort, to no avail. Literally was about ready to ball me eyes out, and then you post this. So now I'm gonna cry because this is such a help for me, you don't even know. Social anxiety can be so fooking crippling n' debilitating. I hate it, I truly hate it so much. I literally have no friends because of it. Not a single one. So I jump into the asmr world so that I can feel like I have a friend, or even a partner, because I know I'll never have one in the real world. Anywho, I sound really stupid right about now, so imma shush up. Just....thank you for this. Truly. If it's like a closet I'm hiding there to avoid people
I could easily have been the girl in the bathtub. At least at those kinds of parties. No doubt I would feel like a toad from another well and would have gone to hide there, if not also sitting alone in the patio in the dim light or something. All in order to disappear or return to my house as soon as possible. So this hits close to home. And It feel nice what you do for people like me. Quiet ones, shy, with certein kind of social anxiety.
