was it because of the tacos she had before the games ? Did the spicy sauce affected her badminton abilities ? Lets do more scientific experiments to find out...
sometimes when everything just don't seem to go your way, you have to find ways to break that. some of the things I can suggest is probably dragging the game out, take longer breaks, tie your shoelaces, get the helper to mop the floor, basically time wasting. if you can scream and shout like Marin, that would even be better. the point is to try and frustrate your opponent while you try to regain your composure/confidence and to put the focus back on yourself instead of the surrounding. skill-wise from this video, I dont see her being better than you. it's just quite a few unforced errors. probably work on your mental part of the game, develop some mental strategies, i feel that may help. train hard and all the best!
Hi Talia, Nice vlog once again :) Will you play at the Nantes International Challenge (France) this year ? It's in June. I hope to see you there. Greetings from France
It was a good match but the American player was outclassing you. Your continual dropping down the world rankings would suggest you’re not doing something right. Since watching your vlog I think you’ve dropped close to 25 places. I’m concerned that you fly around the world getting beaten it seems constantly wherever you go…. Life is about the journey but it seems like that journey as a pro badminton player isn’t going so well
@jonburton1935 Do you just go around leaving negative comments and putting people down? There was nothing constructive at all in this comment besides you sharing your probably unwanted "concerns". On another note: You're doing great Talia! The journey and experiences are what it's all about- hope you continue to stay positive, keep moving forward and learning! (like u have been :P cus this tournament was 2023 i think)
All I put here are some facts I’m sorry you don’t like them but I can’t change them. With videos quoting how she has four plane tickets to another one where she said that if her performance doesn’t improve she may have to go to another country to train. This is all in her own vlog. Furthermore she’s been training in Thailand, Malaysia and in Denmark at Peter gade’s academy and watching her play in the Uber/Thomas cup where I think Canada didn’t even take a game off Indonesia let alone a match it might suggest…. Looking at what seems to going wrong. This isn’t supposed to be a negative comment but a wake up call to what I see is a trend.
You are not looking at the facts you are looking at a number: world ranking. How about looking at the context? She dropped in rank because she stopped playing tournaments to study to become a doctor. If you want to talk performance, she has won the Norwegian and Mexican internationals, pretty recent and both happening after the study hiatus. So stop being concerned for her and how about doing some self reflection like how unbearable and ignorant you are basing success off of a number? btw this isn’t supposed to be a negative comment just a ✨wake up call ✨
Oh now I understand. So it’s really just a play around hobby for her. That’s ok. World ranking doesn’t matter then. Had I known that she was playing for fun I maybe should have tailored my response. I just wish I could travel the world and getting Yonex hauls for fun.
I really love your volgs, it"s always fun to watch.
fourth you did alright! don't be upset! it's part of the journey! keep going! you can do it!

Has anyone realised why she is not keeping up with us and is still posting 2023 vlogs.
I’ve been quite behind on editing because I’ve been studying😭
