You can see Neville here low key praising Jose because at the time of recording he was Man Utd’s manager 😂😂

Everything Chelsea has done under Abramovich’s ownership, has and still is, geared towards winning, at all costs. You have to respect it as a rival fan. When things are not going right, they’re not gassing up their past glories and tagging old legends to join and fix the club, like a certain club in Manchester is doing right now. Instead, they focus on winning in the here and now, no matter how ruthless it is. Mediocrity has no place in Chelsea FC.
Awesome take on it
They will have to give lectures about Roman in sports science soon.

Everybody loves to make fun of how Chelsea sack their managers every few years, but now I think it's clear to see why they do it. Chelsea brought in a top manager in Tuchel and won the CL. Meanwhile other top clubs have to settle for less desirable or less experienced managers because there isn't anyone left in the market.
Like us signing Willian so Tottenham couldn't have him.
In Portugal we are all proud of this Portuguese man!!

The one thing this graphic shows which I wish the board would actually notice and understand, every time we back a manager for 2-3 straight years, who have a system and squad that is set up in 1 style, we finish consistently 1st or 2nd, the second you see us with different manager every season or even 2 in a few consecutive seasons is when you see we start going between 1st - 10th and losing our consistency. From Tuchel's reign as well as Pep and Klopps blueprints, it currently looks like we might be learning that lesson and sticking to a plan over 1 year solutions but we'll see.

Yes of course it involves money, all successful businesses require investment, however yes significant amounts on players, plus mangers, coaches, improved facilities Cobham did not exist in its capacity before, investment in youth and women football, and still yet a better stadium at some point. Chelsea started from a very long way behind all the major successful clubs. Its a role model more of business than just football, but its proven to work, mistakes are made, and soon corrected. A very big and fast learning curve done in s relatively short time. Football history shows there have been dominant clubs in many periods all had investment and pushed new professional ideas. Now in 2022 we have clubs like Man City, PSG and Newcastle with the wealth of nations behind them, so the boundary has gone even further. The change for Chelsea happened at the right time, timing is everything in business, though today we have teams like Watford, Southampton, Bournemouth, Fulham, West Ham, Wolves, Aston Villa... all able to spend 30 million plus on players time and time again....Its not the same game as 30 or 40 years ago... just like in the 70's and 80's it had changed so much from the previous decades of the 50's and 60's.... as a rival fan you might not like them due to their success, but you can't deny or ignore they have done an excellent job, all within the rules of the game... they used their money wisely... there is a long list of club who spent significant millions for nothing or almost went out of business when they got it wrong..... so maybe a tiny bit of respect, even if its through gritted teeth.... its not been put on a plate for them nobody rolled over and gave them anything.
We’ve spent 30 mil on one player and that was after selling richarlison for 50
