    2:47 so just below A440. Also, fun exercise to watch the later sounds using a spectrogram app - see pitch change, harmonics, etc. Crazy idea: acrylic paint pours on vibrating surface to capture rough pattern.

    Why is there no Energy in matter other than that received from its environment?

      @@raverdeath100 why do radioactive materials not lose weight over time? If m-ass is being converted into Energy.

      Nikola Tesla, before Einstein's 𝐸 = 𝑚 𝑐 2 E=mc 2 was established, claimed "there is no energy in matter." This was incorrect because Einstein's theory later revealed that matter does indeed contain energy, as described by the equation 𝐸 = 𝑚 𝑐 2 E=mc 2 . This equation shows that mass and energy are interchangeable, with matter holding substantial energy.

      @@bridgetroll9 Radioactive materials don’t visibly lose weight over time because the mass loss due to radioactive decay is minuscule compared to the total mass of the material. Although radioactive decay converts some mass into energy, the amount is so small that it doesn't affect the material's weight significantly when measured.

    • @bridgetroll9
      @bridgetroll9 Місяць тому

      @@Namdor2012 If mass is being turned into Energy than the spent fuel rods would be lighter. No m-ass is lost therefore the source of radioactivity has nothing to do with the material. The source is external to the mass. Enriching uranium OR plutonium involves lots of KWHs. Since the radioactive material weighs exactly the same before and after no Energy=mc^2…

    Why do we need to "see" the sounds? We can "hear" them already! I think sounds are made to be heard, not seen!

      what's wrong with seeing?

      "I think it's always fascinating to explore different ways of experiencing things, even if we can already hear them. Not everyone can hear sound the same way, and it's amazing how science can offer new perspectives. For instance, some places use vibrating floors so that deaf individuals can feel the music instead, creating an inclusive experience for everyone.
      Moreover, tools like tuners on guitars can visually show us how in tune the music is, which is incredibly helpful for those who may not have a trained ear for tuning instruments.
      I recently witnessed a young student's passion for singing, but they were struggling to match pitch and ended up feeling discouraged. By visually showing them the shapes sound waves create, I hope to help them understand how to improve their singing and match the right tones effectively. It's all about embracing different ways of learning and expressing ourselves!"
