This struck me as sort of like Night Watch written small, with a villain of rather less menace than Carcer, but still dangerous until he was broken.
Just started reading this, the tone is vastly different and it was obviously dictated by Terry and typed by his assistant Rob, as even the formatting is different, but im still excited to read it.
It was okay, but a Sam Vimes book is usually a 5 star!
I loved this book. Some of the passages were extremely visceral.
I understand the comment about the white saviour trope, but to me (a Pakistani), it felt more like a person using their privilege for good.
It feels like with Snuff Pratchett is doing a thematic adaptation of Fevre Dream by George R R Martin.
On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 high, u sound like an 8 as a Discworld fan. Is that fair? What's new with Mousiness (Mouse + business)? How well do u deal with the summer heat? Have no idea what your area's covid situation is like.
