Have you ever experienced bad light when out shooting photography?
As a an amateur photographer, I know firsthand how frustrating it can be when you're all set to capture some amazing shots, but the light just isn't cooperating. I'm sure you've had those times when you're out with your camera and the light is just blah and makes everything look dull and flat.
It can be super discouraging, like why even bother taking photos, right?
But don't give up hope! Over time I've learned some tricks that can help salvage a photoshoot even when the light isn't cooperating.
Today, you're going to learn how to take stunning photos even when the lighting conditions are far from ideal.

Thanks for the kind words Pat! :)
So glad I clicked on this video! I'm a novice photographer and one of the challenges I face is I'm not that good with composition and lighting. This helps a lot in understanding lighting especially for beginners like me.
Thanks awesome feedback! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Is there anything else that you'd like me to cover on the channel?
Excellent! Great content. The fly-in text was used well. Love the camera push in as you are speaking. This is an amazing step forward in such a short time. Wow!
Thanks! As you know, really trying to push the production on these.
New sub, you have a great, professional, presenting technique! :D
Thanks Jon! I run a sales training business and so I'm just repurposing the UA-cam studio, script writing etc from there for these videos.
Thank you for the great tips! I live in Sweden and we have many overcast days too.
You are so welcome! Sweden is a beautiful place to shoot in.
Really well done. Your tips were concise and incredibly useful. I’m going back and looking at photos I took in Glacier National Park on a dreary day. I’m thinking the sky and clouds may look dramatic in black and white. Thanks for the inspiration. You have a new subscriber.
Hey Tom, thank you for taking the time to drop a comment. I'm sure Glacier National Park is still epic even in dreary weather! It's a destination I have on my bucket list to shoot.
Great video, well done. Many thanks. 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! Cheers!
This is excellent content! You’ve inspired me to try some LEX photos with my Canon 100-400 L and an ND! Thanks!
That's awesome! I'm going out later this week with my Sony 100-400 for some landscape work as the weather is looking dull.
I do monochrome monday pix. I always have photos that I can convert.
There's no such thing as bad lighting.
If you're any good at photography then perhaps :).
@Photography-Explained If someone like my father, for example, takes a photo with his camera using Kodakrome film, takes a photo of what he wanted to capture, there's no such thing as bad lighting.
If I kick myself in the head whilst naked in the forest and I say it didn't hurt, then it didn't hurt.
@@Photography-Explained You can do that if you want. There's no such thing as bad lighting.
I personally hate BLUE SKY and choose overcast days for my photography. @frame25_ren
