Psalm 20 - The LORD Saves His Anointed

- Psalm 20 is different, notably because it is in the voice of a multitude that prays on behalf of the King of Israel as he is ready to go into battle.
It speaks of the LORD saving his anointed and the triumph of those who trust in Him.

I've got a big battle on Monday n Satan is throwing his worst in too. I declare in faith, 'I trust in the name of the LORD our (my) God'. I pray, and will keep praying too for you, that God gives you the desires of your heart and that He protects you in the battles and the war and continues to use you for His glory and purpose. Remember in the tough times, that we are praying for you and more importantly Jesus is too. Trust, rise up and stand firm, Pastor David.

I am a Jewish woman living in Israel 60 years. I was educated in the Catholic convent in Pretoria for 10 years and attended Hebrew lessons 4 times a week where I became religiously Jewish.
On listening to the amazing explanation you gave, and considering the world now and, especially my Israel, which is facing yet amother "war" and challenges, your lecture brought great light.
I realized it is each of us human souls of the almighty that is a David OR a Jesus .
We are each empowered with the ability to be a Messiah (in our own lives) and i wonder at the idea that people afe wIting for the /a Mesdiah if the Messiah was here.
It is hard foe me to think a Messiah, the Ultimate saviour had actualky BEEN, ee wouldnot be waiting for him

As usual a wonderful presentation of the Psalms. As I paged ahead I couldn't help noticing that each psalm has a powerful first verse which are a beautiful way to greet people during a text message or email. Very beneficial.

I am asking you a favour Sir David and this to recommend some Psalms that I must read to break up Spells and Curses against Spells of Division and Disunity that the enemies have set in my Family to ruin the Unity and togetherness that used to be in our family. quotable psalms
have a sense that the
“Chariots and horses”
refered to here may
have been King David’s
reference to the
great deliverance
of the Exodus!

Is this a good scripture to use for prayer for my father who could be in a harmful situation? I need a scripture for spiritual warfare on someone else’s behalf.
Pastor Lance replies - Intercessory prayer (praying for others) is exactly what we are called to do. When Jesus taught us to prayer, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth and in heaven," THAT is exactly what it means. You can pray that specifically for your father.
It's clear YESHUA, was clearly SON OF DAVID, in terms of defying the enemy, and overcoming SIN.
