So many people saying "this kid is nothing special" or some shit just enjoy the damn video and stop comparing him to other professional drummers out there. Tatsuya is not doing this just because he wants to compete with the pros but he just wants to entertain people.
It's really fucking annoying that people keep comparing him to others like he's trying to prove he's the best
+DerpT Batt Plus the fact that people and other professionals that he's worked with have stated him to be one of the best drummers they've seen/worked with and that he is a very very talented drummer
+TheRedkeyboard ....sorry - as a drummer for 30 years, I can promise you this person is really not that talented.
+DerpT Batt Straight up. I would love to see the people complaining put on the show he puts on behind the kit. The dude has the energy of 20 drummers. It isn't always about the licks and chops.
+Glitch Yet hes probably 30 times a successful as you stfu lol. He entertains people, he's not going for the top drummer of the year lol hopefully you'll understand that one day in your 30 years of experience lol.

Thing is, this is actually really extreme from a drummer's perspective. I've been drumming 10 going on 11 years now, and holy shit the way he just keeps that tempo throughout all the different changes in time he makes, and actually nails every one, I gotta say this is really impressive, did NOT expect that from Crossfaith. These guys definitely have integrity to their name.

Just finished the 1st 5 dates of their UK run and watched him every night, all the drum police need to calm down, he is an amazing drummer. The thing that makes drummers like this good is they understand fan logic, yeh he could put on some metal drumming master class clinic but if you gave most music fans a choice between listening to the perfect blast beat or joining in the drum solo with a "we will rock you" chant, they'd probably choose being entertained over being bored everytime.

テクニックに関しては難しいことはしてない。しかし、魅せ方が上手過ぎる。
緊張と緩和のタイミングといい、ドラムソロのストーリーが出来上がっている。
素晴らしいソロ
If you compare it with some extreme metal drummers, this might not be very impressive HOWEVER this guys really has a lot of energy and knows how to be entertaining, and that makes this solo more interesting than many that I've seen from more proficient drummers.
And this is why he wont the 2013 Warped Tour drum competition. Hah. BEAST MODE!
